That's some desperate trolling.

Forgetting it means that when people think of those films TDKR is an afterthought. You immediately think of TDK and Ledger's joker, while TDKR is more of an "oh yeah an then there was that one with the guy who you couldn't understand", which is why it's only discussed when bringing up a thread like this, usually to try to boost it's merits in vain.

For proof positive of this ask anyone on the street what people think of Catwoman, they will either remember Michelle Pfeiffer, or Julie Newmar, and when you say, "what about Anne Hathaway", most of the time you will get a "she was catwoman?" as a reply.

I'm watching BvS ultimate cut for the 100th plus time.

That's interesting. I'm not exactly sure when BvS came out on DVD (I'm sure others or you can give the exact date) but let's say it was last September. So in the course of around 6 months (180 days) you have watched it over a hundred times. That's close to every other day. My favorite movie of all time is STAR WARS: Episode IV A NEW HOPE....I have maybe seen it a 100 times over the course of 40 years. I tend to watch a lot of movies and TV, and I also tend to go for variety.

Kong Skull Island was so much fun. As much as I appreciate Peter Jackson's love letter to the original (and even the 70s Kong movie) this did something different. It succeeded as a Kaiju movie with a big budget. It's what I wanted out of the 2014 Godzilla movie.

I actually feel the opposite. I thought Godzilla was mediocre but i enjoyed the Godzilla scenes more than the Kong scenes which felt like they had nothing new to offer. At least the buildup in Godzilla was more effective.

I was sooo bored throughout Skull Island. Only laughed a couple of times at Reilly (that line about the ants was hilarious). Every character was cardboard. Zero development, zero chemistry, a total waste of John Goodman and Brie Larson (who is given nothing to do but smile a few times and look stunned at the camera). Hiddleston was boring. Sam Jackson was just playing himself as he usually does when he's doing a paycheck movie. John Goodman of all people was made to look like a bad actor. At least Bryan Cranston's acting was better than these stiff cardboard cutouts that i was watching in K:SI. Geeeeez.

Bad writing, bad CGI besides a good looking Kong, boring action with Kong that added nothing new, no heart in this movie, shoving 70's rock tunes down our throats every 3 seconds to make sure that the audience understands "WE'RE IN THE 70'S! REMEMBER!?"

Larry Fong did his best but it wasn't enough. This movie had no creativity. All recycled tropes that you expect from scene to scene. I heard going into it that the dialogue was reaaally bad, and i shrugged it off. But they weren't exaggerating. Like, i want fun but it doesn't have to be so dumbed down with an obvious lack of effort. They get paid to recycle lines that we've heard from every b-movie imaginable?

Let's be real: Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman was the highlight of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In a movie centered around an absurdly macho conflict between two supermen, it was Wonder Woman who was the most interesting hero (and the one who was most on-model from her comic book inspiration: no Ben Affleck grouchiness or Henry Cavill grimace here). Gadot managed to be mysterious, funny and — best of all — tough as hell. It had taken far too long to bring the most high profile female superhero of them all to the big screen, but when Gadot dropped into frame dressed as Wonder Woman for the first time, it almost seemed worth the wait. With Gadot being the first female superhero to topline a movie in a decade, as well as a turn in Justice League coming in November, she’s only on the rise.
