First Roger Moore and then Adam West. And I thought last year was rough. When I think of Batman, West was always the one I thought of first. RIP
Re: CBM fatigue
I felt that for a short time, right around the time when Iron Fist was released on Netflix. It's why I put off watching it until two weeks after it was released. However, once I finished it, I was quite glad I brought myself to watch it and with the release of the Black Panther teaser, I was so giddy that I can't wait to see it!
Whatever fatigue I might have felt is no longer there. I guess I'm easily impressed by what modern movie technologies can accomplish.
Your username is more poignant now.
R.I.P. Adam.
RIP Adam West. Easily the most iconic Batman.
I'm still hoping one day we can get all the actors who've played Batman to do a photoshoot together. And I hope it's sooner than later because Adam West is getting up there in age.

No amount of nitpicks, contrarian hot takes, or thinly veiled naysaying will change the simple fact that The Dark Knight is one of the best American movies of the 21st century.

That show never gets old for me, or less watchable.I used to watch the 1966 Batman when I was a teen but once I hit 18, I completely lost interest and to this day, I find the show embarrassing to watch. That said, it's popularity and influence on Batman lore is undeniable and truly, Adam West seemed like a really good human being.
