Once the song is played with a particular scene it may have more impact then and resonate better, we shall wait and see.

The theme is ok IMO, but not as good as the music from BTAS or Nolan's movies.

I'm gonna make one last shameless plug of my version of it I posted last week, which was based on the Comic Con music that luckily did turn out to be from the score.

I'm curious to see where Junkie's theme goes. I embellished a bit towards the end of mine. I think from what we heard it's a decent theme, but there's still room for it to develop and the full Batman suite I believe is 14 minutes long, so I'll reserve judgment.

That sounds good Batlobster. It would work well in the 90s animated series and animated movies IMO.

Anyone seen the new airline tv spots? I like the look of Gotham. Looks real but distinctive at the same time.

Civil War also looks dope. Black Panther is badass.

Just looked it up, real interesting. It looks nice, like I want to visit Gotham now and get laid there.

Loved both BVS spots. Civil War spot needed more than a split second of BP...

Only thing I could think during the CW spot was "Deshi deshi basara basara!"

This combination still doesn't sound like a compliment to me.

So is this the shot of Gotham that was shown in the new TV spot;

If it is then it looks like a regular looking city to me much like Nolan's. The buildings are very ordinary looking, and the only stand out piece is the ACE chemicals sign. That shot could have been taken in Chicago. They haven't gone for that 'Gothic' look that has been absent for the bulk of Gotham's existence.

Yep. I respect his decision, keeping his Batman legacy with the Nolan series.

Exactly.

^ Thank you.

Apart from that one stone gargoyle, it looks like the clean cut generic type of Gotham in the comics in that shot, too. Not the dirty decaying Gothic Gotham some fans hold in such high esteem. The buildings look fresh and clean.

That's one choice I give Snyder the thumbs up for.

Let's remember that this was also a "commercial" for Gotham, meant to highlight all the good aspects of the city and how far it's come. It's designed to make Gotham look clean and appealing. It may or at not be so clean cut when we get to see different corners of the city in the film itself, but overall, I really liked both of these BVS spots. Commercials within commercials.

I like the idea that on the surface and from afar, Gotham looks the way it does in this commercial, but on the streets and at night, you see a different side of the city.

Personally, I prefer Gotham having a dirty look. Snyder's choice doesn't really bother me though.

What's the night shot of the city from? Is that from a commercial, too, because it looks very much like the average city Gotham there as well. Looks like it could have been taken from Chicago or NY with an ACE chemicals sign slapped on top of a building.

Btw Shape, nice alteration to your user name.

A gothic Gotham doesn't make much sense when Metropolis is right across the bay.

I think Gotham looks fantastic. They added a couple of cool things in there like the gargoyle statue and Ace Chemicals, but it looks like a great American city. Not unlike Nolans but adding a little bit extra there for the fans.

What's ACE chemicals doing in the middle of the business district though? That's just irresponsible.
