Small moments I liked:

- Batman using the batwing as a springboard.

- Batman no -selling that knife stab at the neck

- Superman horrified at Batman parrying his attack

- Wonder Woman's scream. They are selling the warrior angle.

- Batmobile exploding out (or in?) of somewhere.

You know one of the more amusing notions I've read on the internet about Batfleck? That he's undergone some sort of acting transformation to play him -- "ah dun see Affleck anymore; ah only see Batman".

Have these people ever seen Affleck before this movie? He is playing Wayne exactly the same as his public Hollywood persona, cept with maybe a slightly deeper voice.

People are acting like Affleck is DDL and Batman is Bill The Butcher, Lincoln or Daniel Plainview.

And people criticize Nolan fans for getting OTT in their praise.

I think the hyperbole swings much harder the other way.

Oh it does. And not just with BvsS. Some of things posted on the SS board would make you face palm big time.

Much better than the last one, though it doesn't ease my worries. On the bright side, I think that action scene they used for the opening looks more enjoyable to me than the Batman v Superman fight.

Snap. Though being better than the last trailer was not exactly hard to do. Less hammy Luthor, no Doomsday, and no wooden Cavill acting in this one. They went more for the money shots, and gave some of the really good actors (Irons) a chance to shine.

According to Drew McWeeny, WB has started showing BvS and it hasn't been getting the response they were hoping for. He predicts a big shakeup at WB, including Snyder out of the director's chair for Justice League if the film doesn't perform the way they want it to.

Just rumors of course, but if it's true, I can't say I'm too surprised. You hire Zack Snyder, you're going to get a Zack Snyder movie.

That's one of the main reasons why I am not looking forward to BvsS. Watchmen is the only movie he's done that I enjoyed in some way. Even then I didn't think it was anything special. Decent at best. Rorschach was the only stand out thing in it.

If BvS does not get a good response, then it would be a big mistake (and a bit of a joke IMO) if they do not replace Snyder.

And for anyone who loves Snyder, don't take that personally. I'm just pointing out that he has a track record for dividing audiences and critics, trending a bit more negatively with his last few films. You can think he's an under-appreciated genius and still recognize that objectively.

The good news is that if the rumors are to believed, Affleck's Batman is one of the best parts of the film.

I trust Affleck has enough influence to improve what will be seen on screen, even with the trailers and promo being discouraging to a number of fans of any or all three of the characters.

If they got Joss Whedon there would be an explosion of animosity between Marvel and DC fans. "Haha they had to call in Avengers director Whedon to save the DCCU. Show them how it's done".

Yep, pretty much all the reasons it's better but not raising my expectations. Luthor's the big thing that's worrying for me. I like Eisenberg as an actor, but everything we're seeing so far is too manic for my tastes. Doomsday I don't expect to be anything apart from a thing to fight for the climax, the main thing I'm dreading there is a climax that feels as long as the one in Man of Steel.

My problems with Luthor, Doomsday, glossy CG, Wonder Woman, and the story in general haven't changed even after the last trailer... which just tells me WB cares only about Batman and nobody else.

My expectations couldn't be any lower for this film. I just want to see Bats and Supes throw down. That fight is going to be epic!

Batman is easily the most interesting thing about the film so far, IMO. Not really intrigued by Clark's arc so far, beyond him and Batman fighting.

Is Cavil gonna be the same as Clark as he is as Supes? Based on the snippet of his covo with Wayne in the previous trailer and his convo with Batman in one of the clips, he plays them both exactly the same, just with glasses on for Clark.

I am not asking for the caricature of Reeve's Clark, but jeez, even Routh played Clark as a different person while avoiding being a cartoon.

So far, Clark just seems like he'll be a slightly quieter version of Superman with glasses. A lot of fans love that take on Clark, but I find it absolutely boring. It just makes the disguise seem even more ridiculous than it already is.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. I'm really wondering how they're going to make the glasses disguise play, especially with little to no differentiation in his performance.

I'd also have to agree with Batman being the best part of the movie so far. The first section of the trailer kind of just makes me wish it was a Batman movie. Going from that badass Batman section straight into the Metropolis destruction highlighted that for me.

Also, I want that Batcave chair. Thing is sexy as ****.
