Remind me of why people didn't like the idea of a Selina Kyle that worked as a stripper? I think that was one of our earliest TDKR rumors (After we'd gotten the title and the villains revealed).
It doesn't fit Nolan's PG-13 movies.
He likes movies he can see with his children.

False. Warner Brothers wouldn't let a Batman movie be anything more than PG-13, especially in this era. Could it happen eventually? Sure, but i really doubt it.

Selina was pretty much involved with some kind of escort service anyway, in Rises. It's hinted at, at least.

Selina should've had a different introduction where she is dominating a fool with the stiletto of her heels. A severely missed opportunity.

I think it's good thinking from WB's end, and I do believe I read an interview with Chris Nolan about Interstellar, in that interview he mentioned his children as fellow movie fans, and I'm not sure if he said he'd rather make his videos accessible to his children, I think he did.

This reminds me of what I heard once about Tom Hanks years ago, not wanting his children to see his movie when they were underage.

He was specifically talking about Interstellar, not the rest of his movies.

I'm just saying, why does it make any difference what the film was shot on? Audiences don't care or can tell the difference, they will go to see the movie anyways.

Right, but some of us do care about that. Well, I do. The GA's opinion never crossed my mind when I posted that.

Can you guys believe it's just a month away?

A duel between two very different gladiators. A battle of wits, will and most importantly, ideals. And a woman who just might be the solution to their war.

I cannot wait for Daredevil.

This is the year of superheroes fighting each other.

Well, sort of. Punisher is not a good guy.

woopity doo, the casual audience does not care.

Are we only supposed to be discussing things the casual audience cares about here on SHH? Because we're definitely doing it wrong, then. :cwink:

Glad SS is being shot on film. Do we know if WW is?

I think the plan is to have every DCEU movie shoot on film, but I could be wrong.

Even though the Daredevil trailer was cool, im getting annoyed with "heroes" fighting each other, when you know none of them will die and they will probably have respect for one another soon after. Then they go their separate ways and we get a new movie/series from the second hero. It's like a gimmick that everybody is jumping on now that there's shared universes and Batman v Superman.

The half measure line works but it's also straight from Breaking Bad, obviously.

I don't know, i hope this shared universe stuff doesn't last too long. Im good if it's done with in 4 years. Hopefully new decade, new ideas.

Oh and..

Deadpool was awesome! Hilarious from start to finish. I can't even take a single Marvel property seriously anymore when it comes to film. They REALLY have to find a way to nail Spidey out of the park in every way imaginable or im going to be bored off my ass. Deadpool is now at the top of the mountain. It made Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy (my two Marvel favs) look weak in comparison.

He's only been saying that recently with Interstellar. And i doubt he had control over the rating of his Batman films, even if he had control over most of everything else.

Im glad he pointed that out because some of us here aren't the general audience and some of us talk about film vs digital. Last time i checked, me and many others didn't post things so an audience can care. I guess i can't bring up a cinematographer that i loved who may be working on an upcoming movie, because you know, audiences don't care about that stuff right? They'll go see the movie anyways.

No we don't have to talk about the general audience, it's not important. But I see plenty of movies all the time, including cbms (so not really ga myself) and I never care what the movie is shot on. I don't see why it's any difference or needs to be a selling point. It didn't help Hateful 8 at all since that's all they talked about instead of the actual movie in the marketing.

Okay, so you don't care, then why bother commenting? Other people do care, hence why it's a topic of discussion. Maybe it's just me but suddenly popping up just to say you don't care about the topic being discussed as though therefore it doesn't matter seems pretty pointless.

Just because you don't see a difference doesn't mean others don't.

I don't understand the differences between the sonic levels of two iterations of a sound system. I'm not about to go to a sound forum and arrogantly tell audiophiles to stop discussion.

And the 70mm cinematography of the Hateful Eight was incredibly obvious and if it was shot on digital it would look dramatically different.

It's not important to you, so ignore it. It's a topic of discussion and interest for many people. It's fine that you don't care what it's shot on, not everyone does, but you're not everybody.

Who cares if it gives a movie success? That's not what we're talking about.

New tv spot.

Bruce: "This may be the only thing i do that matters."

Ugh. This could be a great bit of dialogue for a great arc for this character. If he's so fed up and done with saving lives and throwing criminals in prison because at this point, 20 years later, he feels like it's pointless. They just escape Arkham or 50 more killers wreak havoc in Gotham. That would be great if it leads to him coming to terms with who he is, and the good that he's done this whole time. Leads to him seeing the good in humanity all because of what goes down with Superman and Luthor. Then im all for it. But im worried that Snyder might forget all that and just keep running with the negative side of old Bruce. I fear, as a fan, that we won't see it lead anywhere, with no real emotional reveal for Bruce at the end of the movie (or perhaps in Justice League).

I can wait a couple of movies for that arc to unfold, but what if Zack doesn't let the character evolve and keeps him grumpy & cynical??

There's so much Bat-Eye-Candy in these trailers and spots that i really dont want to see potential gone to waste with bad writing and direction.

Thoughts?

This page is the worst. Can't start a conversation about film, we get this as a response "who cares? People don't notice so who cares." Can't start a conversation about whether Snyders gonna follow through with an arc for Bruce Wayne or not, cuz "well we'll have to wait and see." Hilarious! What's next? So how bout Kobe Bryant and his legacy eh!!?? "Meh, let's wait and see. No use talkin bout it cuz he's got time to f**k it all up!."
