Let's not forget she could know some of the Canadian orgs ....Alpha Flight, Department H, etc....she have a few friends in those groups. But she specifically told her mom she didn't trust anybody else, so I guess she went GTA style across Canada...that's a long trip going through Ontario alone.

Reminds me of an Alpha Flight book (or was it Omega Flight?) where the Wrecking Crew knocked out Sasquatch in Vancouver, picked him up and just walked to Toronto in a couple panels :whatever:

another great ep with well thought-out character transitions.

are there 2 or 3 left in the season?

Thanks Silver

Q: did anybody memorize the name Skye said she was given at the orphanage?
I couldnt hear well and wonder if it's any clue to her identity from the comics verse.

"Mary Sue Poots"

I'm wondering if it's the writer's way of sticking their tongue out at all those who claim Skye is a Mary-Sue, and yet here she is a character who rejected that name and forged her own?

Almost certainly.

I figured that was her given name.I doubt anyone would just pick it themselves, though.:woot:

They made it seem like Hawkeye is a bit of a loner in Thor and Avengers so perhaps they is why he isn't referenced as much because he doesn't socialize or talk other Shield agents that often.

they mentioned Barton and Romanoff in an episode when talking about extraction plans and them never having one

Pretty great episode. Loved the tension of the second half. I'm completely shocked that Skye is no longer a character I actively hate; I never thought that would happen. Props to Chloe for that little freak-out scene in the bathroom, it made me drop my cynicism for the remainder of the episode.

Some of the dialogue is still a bit clunky (that whole scene where Coulson gives hasty exposition about Blackout's powers, :whatever:), but it has improved quite a bit from some of those earlier episodes.

It took until nearly the very end of the first season, but I'm officially hooked.

She aced that scene. It even had me scared. "OMG wtf is she gonna doooo!?!?!?"

i really hope Ward isn't killed off this season, i'm enjoying his turn to the dark side too much to have it end so soon

YES! End of season two though we need an epic showdown with Coulson doing the honors of taking him out.

That agent guy who gave the lie detector tests was stupid. Ward was failing big time but you are going to keep on going until you get a scan that says he is telling the truth about something? He deserved to get offed.

But this storyline is the best thing to happen to this show, it is finally getting interesting to me.

I'd say that Coulson and his team were considerably "more stupid" than Koenig; in this particular situation. they actually knew Ward and didn't catch on. what were Koenig's options? he could confront Ward and speed up the killing. he could shoot Ward; making himself seem like another hydra defector. I doubt that they would have turned on Ward simply because he failed Koenig's test. and Ward wasn't lying about being there for Skye. at the end of the day, Koenig put his trust in Nick Fury and the latter's ability to judge people. Fury would trust Phil and May's judgment. their judgment just happened to be off that day.

LOL @ that lie detector test. Like Black Widow couldn't have figured out the pin under your finger nail trick. She'd be able to beat that test easy.

When you're all alone, pick up the phone, and call

PHIL COULSON!

:woot:

Such Ghostbusters vibes from this episode, I love it
