Kind of happens when the film he's on was set to roll film about a minute and a half after the release of it's predecessor.![]()
There should just be a Bash Snyder BvS sub forum somewhere![]()

I honestly think the best course of action would have been for WB to issue a press release announcing that Justice League had been delayed in order to give themselves time to re-evaluate their approach. Reiterate that they are committing to providing a shared universe experience on-par with Marvel Studios, and that they felt this delay will allow them a better opportunity to live up to that commitment.
There is no shame in admitting that something didn't live up to your expectations, so long as you follow that up with a definitive course of action. As a fan and as a movie-goer, I'd appreciate the sincerity.
You've got SS and WW coming out in the next year. Fast-track The Batman to meet a Q3/Q4 2017 release. You can buy yourselves 2-3 years to iron out the creases while still giving people a decent supply of DC films.
It may cause shareholders to throw a fit, but I'm honestly not sure what's worse. Pissing shareholders off by delaying JL for a year or two, or moving forward with Snyder and an overall vision for this shared universe that simply is not clicking with people. You piss shareholders off now, but at least give yourself a chance to right the ship. If they continue with Snyder, and his JL releases to a similar critical/financial response? You're beyond pissing off shareholders. You're losing your job. And the whole thing is just completely, properly ****ed.
And the thought of executives micro-managing Snyder doesn't fill me with confidence at all. It actually sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Sometimes it's better to just admit a mistake and change direction.
See, the problem with these haters is that they don't understand Snyder's interpretation of fun. They can't let go of their own preconceived notions about fun, and that's why it went over their heads.![]()

Paycheck must have been too big to ignore.Directors are running scared of the DCU except for Affleck lol
Keeping Snyder on board is absolutely madness, as much as I enjoyed Batman v Superman. Having said that, I do have some form of sick curiosity to see how far this trainwreck can go.
But what if admitting you made that mistake could cause shareholders to lose confidence in your product?
WB is in a world of hurt right now, and it's going to be a few years before they get out of it.
I recommend you guys check out "Death of Superman Lives" if you haven't already. It was a series of bombs (beginning with Batman & Robin) that prevented us from getting Tim Burton's Superman movie (amongst other issues).
Your probably right but I think I speak for a lot of fans (maybe not) when I say that if a change was made now and WB proved to me they are trying to right the ship, I would be back on board the excited train for the JL. The hurt doesn't have to last a couple more years, right?
In other words, BvS is the new Phantom Menace.
Someone should change their username to Martha
Do you guys think Snyder has done irreparable damage to this franchise? I have read on a number of forums people saying the damage is already done and it's to late.
Here's some of the things citied.
Killing of Clark Kent.
Making Lex aware of who Batman and Superman are.
Destroying Supermans character and personality( basically stating it would seem out of character for this Superman to start acting like his usual hopeful optimistic self).
Batman killing people feels this creates more problems as to why most of his rogue gallery are not dead. Or how will he be able to take the morale high ground with Red hood if he is ever introduced.
Damage to Pa Kent character.
Damage to Thomas Wayne character.
Etc......
None of that matters imo.
If they really want to bring back 'Clark Kent' (which I don't think they need to), they can. Sure, it'd be nonsensical, but such is the case with Clark's secret identity in general. They could just make a joke about it and move on.
