One of the newest TV spots(#7) just aired on TeenNick.
Ha I think he owes other posters here over $1000 in bets regarding that.On another note, it times like this where I wish I could tell a certain poster here on how wrong they were and how much BS came out of their mouth by presenting this gif. I believe a certain infamous poster was known for claiming several times on how the person in this gif was actually either a military soldier or even faora that was falling to their doom and how Superman was coming in to rescue that person.lol
Good times, right? It never ceases to amuse and amaze me when fanboys claim 100% certainty on things they have no special insight into based on stills or less than 24 frames of footage. On another note, it times like this where I wish I could tell a certain poster here on how wrong they were and how much BS came out of their mouth by presenting this gif. I don't get it. Inception gravity going on or something? A person falling upwards towards Superman? On another note, it times like this where I wish I could tell a certain poster here on how wrong they were and how much BS came out of their mouth by presenting this gif. This.....sounds too plausible it could be true. The only thing off comes from the art book.
It mentions the Scout Ship breaking free of the ice and then eventually later showing it come to rest on a "windswept mountain" to prove that the meld of Krypton and Earth can be visually appealing. Of course the ship could then take off to do what you said but the way its worded could make it sound that's the ships final resting place.
I do like your speculation a hell of a lot though.
I actually agree with you, like all trailers I'm sure there is a lot of awesome splicing going on.
It actually had a good drop this weekend. I think it's an entertaining flick but I'm becoming less and less a fan of it every time I think about it.STID actually had some really clever editing in the TV spots. For instance without saying why it was misleading, the parts with The starships crashing, and rising out of the the water, and Scotty saying: "She's dead captain. The ship's dead!" Very clever misdirection. Btw I'll say it for the umpteenth time, STID was truly excellent, and deserves to make more money at the BO than it is doing. I'll be a happy camper if MOS is as enjoyable as that film.
Why would I take offense? There are crazies out there.Silly and a bit off yet on-topic, I got my scan finally. And just curious if people have taken pictures of theirs and shared. I know we've all seen the Wal-Mart ones, but this is what I got to take there:
(note: I whited out the time and place, just in case. You never know with those crazy stalker b***** [No offense I SEE SPIDEY] )

I know we've seen a couple others, but anyone else?

If you think I'm going to chide you for using the B-word you have another thing coming. I can't even stop myself from cussing.

I read your quote and thought maybe you were talking about the shot of Supes racing towards something and reaching out for it (with the flames in the shot too).
That shot was pretty clear from the get-go though, it wasn't a mystery shot at all. Sometimes fanboys like to over complicate things in order to make themselves feel intelligent.

Sorry for ruining the joke. And I'm hiding in Cavill's bushes, not yours.I said no offense as a joke because A. you are a female and B. I was implying you were hiding in my bushes.
Try to keep up, dear![]()

Yeah it attracted less women and young people. Paramount obviously didn't play up the attractive dudes enough and the trailers didn't appeal to younger people. 36% of Trek's audience was female, the movie should have hit the 40% mark. I thought the marketing was pretty good but as it got closer they over marketed the thing and not in the right way. The movie is still going to do over 200mil and they will make a sequel I'm sure because the overseas numbers should make up for the domestic ones. Obviously the movie is a huge disappointment though, I predicted 325mil.Yeah the drop was quite good and it actually started making up ground on ST09 this weekend. Of course even if they are neck and neck, adjusting for inflation, it is still behind ST09. Apparently it's because they didn't get the 25 and under segment of the GA to show up OW. I don't think MOS will have that problem, as clearly the latest trailer and the barrage of action-centric TV spots is aimed right at the heart of that demographic.
I think he is calling you a crazy stalker. Why would I take offense? There are crazies out there.

t: So far I have the scenes from Krypton, Clark's early years and Clark's Journey. I will work later on the Smallville fight and Metropolis battle.I think he is calling you a crazy stalker.
Are you guys going to keep making fun of me for not getting the joke?See at least someone got the joke.

tv spot 7 is the best tv spot yet imo it had everything
big scale action
superman punching zod into car
heat vision
epic music
superman saving a soldier from his death
and funny cute moments like what does s stand for scene from trailer and he is kinda hot scene
Color me intrigued about your speculation.
In case you guys missed my response on the last page. The speculation is only based on the info from the book we already discussed and footage released so far.Very, very cool. That sounds like a great visual and a bit of a nod to the scene from STM.
And yes DK, always love some good speculation.t:
Darth and InJustice, please be warned, this is really spoilerific if I am right.
So it seems that the Black Zero does not have a Phantom Drive of its own (since it couldn't leave the Zone at will) whereas Kara's crashed Scout Ship aka the Fortress and Kal-El's rocket do possess them. Interestingly, Trailer 4 shows what appears to the Fortress/Scout Ship crashing through Metropolis. Knowing what we know about the Zone and Kryptonian spacetravel technology, I wonder if the Scout Ship enters the picture as a way for Supes to re-imprison Zod and the Black Zero in the Zone.
We have seen shots of what appears to be Lois at the Fortress and, if you go back to Trailer 2, there was a lone shot of Hardy and Hamilton at the similar snowy, northern location looking at something with awe. We also see a big convoy of military aircraft including Hercules transports flying somewhere. Now that we know that Supes shows up the military base all on his own and doesn't submit to custody in Smallville, that convoy of aircraft makes no sense unless perhaps it is transporting a military/scientific expedition to the Fortress. A recent interview with Deborah Snyder states that Lois has a defined role in the good guys' plan for the last act. Since we know there is no Kryptonite in the film and presumably Kryptonians cannot be killed on Earth otherwise, I wonder if Supes develops a plan to have Lois and the military try and power up the crashed Scout Ship and get its Phantom Drive working while Supes distracts Zod and company and attempts to save as many lives as he can in Metropolis.
Then the Scout Ship comes to Metropolis and opens a rift to the Zone (would it not make sense for Col. Hardy, a "heroic" Air Force officer who seems more prominent than shown, to be in the movie because his role is to fly the Scout Ship and possibly sacrifice himself doing so?). Then, Supes leads the Black Zero through the portal/rift acting as bait. (hence the shots in Trailer 3 of Supes flying and being chased by the Black Zero's tentacles where it almost looks like they are underwater or something, when in fact they are in the Zone) If you think about it, the shot of Supes carrying Lois with the sucking distortion in the background can't be the gravity beam because it would mean that they are flying straight downwards towards the ground given how they are flying directly away from the distortion. I think Supes' face looks weird and "cracked" in that scene because he has just escaped the Zone and the portal is closing behind them and collapsing.
Of course I dish it out and take it. What are you like 19 or 20? That's too young for me to stalk.I'm fairly confident that is exactly what you'd do so you should in no way expect anything less.
Unless you just need a boop.
