The Joker I feel is an easier role to cast. It's such a good, big role that will garner much attention to whoever it is. As bad as it may sound I imagine many actors would relish the chance to follow Ledger. It's a big challenge and actors love that so I can see more saying yes to an audition than no.

BUT only as long as they seriously consider the actor and make a Joker that is far away from Ledger's, I don't want them to just think well Ledger worked last time so lets just get Daniel Radcliffe cause its such a left field choice. The character though obviously is far far bigger than the actor and I wouldn't be surprised if there is a tease to him in SvB but he will be featured at some point in this franchise. He is a massive money draw.

I enjoy the joker so much in all the animated series. Freakin Mark Hamill why are you so old!

Imagine if Daniel Radcliffe did get cast as the Joker. Ben Affleck's Batman is about a foot taller than him. :woot:

AWESOME FAN MADE TRAILER... look at Gotham recreation.. anyone knows from which movie is that shot? is EPIC...

That city shot is from the end of Watchmen. And I agree, excellent trailer!!

Another really nicely done trailer. Also makes me hope Zimmer does the score again.

Lot of talented people out there.

cause its' awesome?:cwink:

It really is.
Man, I love MoS so much. I even think its the best superhero franchise starter I have seen. Yes, I like it even more than Batman Begins (even if I still like TDK and TDKR better than MoS, but its kinda unfair to copare first installments to great sequels)
If the next movie can make a quality jump, like they did after Begins, we are in for GREATNESS! I have really high hopes.

One thing Zod was, was a pure badass and that picture reflects that! Awesome!

I've written this before, but I think once MOS hits home theatres it's stock with the fan community will rise. I saw it six times in theatres, 4 digital showings, and the digital showings were AMAZING!! The complaints of some about the camera work ect. will go away once it's on the set in your living room I suspect.

Really? I think the Joker is one of the hardest characters to cast because there aren't many actors who could simultaneously pull off every aspect of the character, the insane murderous fun loving clown, and also look like the character. Even as good as Ledger's performance was it is still not the definitive Joker because it's a different version, it's more like an Elseworld's version of the character. If we have to have Joker again it should be as comic accurate as they can possibly get, like this:

And I don't know many actors that could pull that off.

Honestly, I think the only times that I had noticed that shaky Cam thing (in a bad way) was the opening shot of the council meeting on Krypton and the exchange between young Clark (while he was sitting on the truck) and Jonathan Kent.

Once you get a DVD/Blu Ray copy, I suspect you won't even notice it any more. The digital theatre I saw MOS in had such crystal clear imagery.

We need a new Superman cartoon bad, or perhaps a series where each episode focuses on a different DCU hero.

Dude... A series done in the style of the SUPERMAN/SHAZAM DTV with a guest hero every episode. Call it DC COMICS PRESENTS: SUPERMAN!

I read somewhere that Bruce Timm was making a new animated cartoon set in the DCAU.
