When I read that there will be a Batman solo film somewhere in there

Oh ok sorry my bad, still why dont they give dates to those 2? they have like 9 other dates locked in

Superman and Batman are DC's aces in the hole, they can slot a Superman or Batman solo on basically any date they want of BvS is a huge hit and others will make room for it. It is basically keeping some announcements ready in case they need to make another splash sometime.

Also just realized this, no one got the Ezra Miller scoop. Literally no one even had his name mentioned in any fan-casting articles.

which is why I don't pay attention to scoop sites...especially for this movie/WB DC movies

They simply don't need to. The line-up speaks for itself.

I think it would have gotten some good traction. Particularly if they maybe had Momoa and Miller there the way they did for Cavill and Affleck. They wouldn't have had to take questions or anything but I think having a room that could respond to their first big outings for Aquaman and Flash would have been cool. Would have got some youtube videos up, tongues wagging and such.

To be fair though, by not linking this to any convention or anything now there's going to be a huge amount of anticipation for the first time these guys talk to the press about their roles. Either way people aren't going to stop talking about it for some time.

Nothing would have changed but it would have been nice if it was revealed at a panel like NYCC. Not a dollar more would have been earned but it would have been nice. It would have been a nice thing that's it.

Gal Gadot may be getting the female lead role in "Ben Hur", the same movie Cavill could not do due to his commitments to BvS. I guess this means that Cavill's BvS role needs substantially more filming time than Gadot's role does. But I thought Cavill's Superman was only appearing in the movie for 10 minutes

Gal Gadot may be getting the female lead role in "Ben Hur", the same movie Cavill could not do due to his commitments to BvS. I guess this means that Cavill's BvS role needs substantially more filming time than Gadot's role does. But I thought Cavill's Superman was only appearing in the movie for 10 minutes

Marvel is a studio that only deals with one type of movie. WB is a massive studio that has their hands in every kind of movie you can think of. They don't care or need to care about appealing to a small piece of their business for one week.
