You didn't know that? It was called the Sistanator 2000. :o

ANNNNND.... Now I have the title for my scifi-porno about a man trapped on a world with women who have no butts. So he invents a machine that can give them butts. IT"S GOLD JERRY! GOLD!

Sounds like that planet has a flat landscape to me.

Please not start with the man of steel...woman of tissue stuff. Please let's not...lol

That's hilarious. lol

Well, Lois is a "nosy" reporter, so I guess being made of tissue fits her...

...wtf is wrong with me tonight? I disgust myself with these horrible jokes. lmao

LOL...you are on one, PowerCosmic, and I like it. Go on with yo' bad self!

And we already KNOW Superman has his own franchise with his own love interest. You’re contradicting yourself.

Do we?

At this point, it's up in the air. Some fans see BvS as a Superman sequel and part of the Superman franchise. Others see it as a straight-up teamup film replacing a solo Superman film.

Batman, however, for sure will get a solo film franchise. There's no way WB would kill that after the billions made from previous films and the insane popularity of their #1 DC character.

Something like this would be good, plus it beats the alternative of having Batman physically engage Superman ala TDKReturns which is what some of us do not want. I'd rather have someone Batman is tracking like a legit villain for him to get involved like Deathstroke.

I'd imagine the drones to be more like actual military drones that fly around and are deployed in the sky throughout the city.

Like on 24 Season 8.

Yeah, I don't know why the knee jerk reaction to the drone rumor was to automatically jump to the conclusion that drone meant giant, KC styled robo-Batmen.

God... One of the few cringe inducing moments of JLU for me. Not for any quality reasons. I just think, in my heart of hearts that Lex is the ONE being in the Universe that can make Superman swear like my Grandmother. And dude... SHE CAN SWEAR.

Well, when it came to Lex, Brainiac, and Darkseid his mood would change.

When it comes to Superman, that's kind of how it should be. :woot:

But I just always wince a little when I see that scene on the Watchtower also because I usually get so caught up in the story and the execution that I forget it was a basic cable half hour American animated show... Then Supes uses an obvious fill in word for **** and I'm like, "Oh, right. It is just a cartoon." :csad:

Well, it's why I love the line. It always makes me laugh. :funny:

But, seriously... Darkseid pissed him off so much when he said he needed help to save Apokolips, his response was pretty much "**** you, your planet, and your people." And then he more-or-less said he was going to kill him. I was all, "Damn, this is different."

That "greasy smear on my fists" line was all kinds of amazing for me.

Yeah, the line was cool and all. But, it still made me go "Whoa." I think that fight was better than their final one in the finale, which I don't even consider much of a fight. Not really sure why people like it so much.

Then, of course Batman's gotta come in and be all "Nah, brah." :hehe:

Because those are the drones that Batman has always used when he's used drones.

"Always" meaning going as far back as 1996, for a character with a seven decade history?

When that rumor, and as of now it is still a rumor, hit the first thought to my mind was "drones like what the U.S. Military/Intelligence agencies use."

The Avengers
Man of Steel
Thor
Thor 2: The Dark World
Green Lantern
Battleship
Skyline
Battle Los Angeles
Pacific Rim
Transformers
Transformers 2
Transformers 3
Oblivion
War of the Worlds
Signs
The Day the Earth Stood Still
Super 8
Star Trek
Ender's Game
Indiana Jones 4

We're ready for the next phase of literary exploration.
As much as I love some of the movies you've listed, I don't want BvS having an invasion.
Many of those were done poorly though...just saying.

There needs to be some action in the movie.
Yeah, but no need for it to come from an invasion.
Well, there better be something if WB wants to compete with the other big 2015 movies. I reckon they'll have some action.

No, this will be a drama, and will have the pacing of 2001. No action at all. :word:

What does the amount of time the character has existed have to do with the fact the only drones he's used have been robots? 1996 was the start of his drone using history and they've been Bat-robots. They very well could not be robots, but the obvious conclusion to jump to when it comes to Batman using drones is that they'll look like the drones that Batman uses.

It doesn't matter what anyone prefers or thinks it will be, the questioning why people would assume they'd be robots is what was odd to me.

Yeah, I don't know why the knee jerk reaction to the drone rumor was to automatically jump to the conclusion that drone meant giant, KC styled robo-Batmen.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if it does turn out to be KC like drones. I could see WB trying to emulate the Iron man empty suits model's , plus it seems like the kind of thing WB would want to throw in to sell toys.

Ha, I'm going over the posts from last night and yeah...I was definitely on one.:funny:
You should've said "Lex-flipping-Luthor."

I need my Superman to have balls in this latest iteration. Hopefully he spurts out a few "F**ks" while talking about Luthor. :o

I thought drones meant satellite drones, as in Batman spies on and zaps bad guys from space.

Since we have to keep things PG-13, I think he can only say it once. But, I'm not sure if MPAA looks at "****" and "****ing" as two different things. They're confusing like that.

General Swanwick saying "Are you effing stupid?" doesn't help your case.
