1. Just because this movie might have WW, Flash, etc, it doesn't make it Justice League.

Dark knight Returns has Supes,WW and Green Arrow and its a Batman story.

2. If this is indeed an ensemble piece like Trinity or Justice League, theres nothing wrong with that. You don't need a two hour movie to introduce a character.

I'm not the most knowledgeable on comic books just like comic book movies but....

Couldn't Lobo work real well if he was say hired by someone. Such and such happens everyone thinks Lobos plans were foiled, except Lobo always completes his contract, so then he goes to collect and it turns out to be Brainiac. Brainiac turns on Lobo since Lobo is the last of his kind, leading to a Last Son of Krypton movie where Brainiac comes to collect Superman.

Could be a random subplot in this film leading to Brainiac for a later movie.

Its Superman/boy prime killing an alternate universe batman after he killed the other alternate universe lex luthor, superman, lois lane, and her unborn child.

That sounds so dumb.

My answer not good enough?!

It's like saying someone was murdered to death.

I hope El Mayimbe can clear it up for us.

Ooh, Momoa as Deathsroke could be good.

Or Doomsday, or Metallo. It's all good.

Fair enough.

I understand that people have concerns and I have them as well but I think people are overreacting to every piece of casting and news that comes out. People are acting like every casting choice will have 30 minutes of screentime each. Personally I'm just waiting to see what Goyer and Snyder have up their sleeve before panicking.

Like at first I was worried that Days of Future Past was getting way too crowded and then I realized that a lot of the new mutants were probably cannon fodder so I just let go of that particular worry.

Probably just contempt for the director/writer or mos itself that has most folks worried. I remember how each new casting(announcement) during TDKR pre production was met with cheers of a sort.

When it comes to fans, you(and all your decisions) really are only as good as your last flim was in their eyes. Objective reception be damned.

Mongul. For the man who has everything.

LOD member for spinoff factor.

What does "objective reception" mean?

The general audiences have heard of Doomsday but nothe other villains. If u r producer, who will u pick? ;)

I dare you to go out into the street and ask people who Doomsday is.

I dare you.

Why would you need an actor to play Doomsday? Momoa has to be playing a different character.

Somebody started something with this Killer Croc nonsense. Out of all of Bats villains...do you really think someone is saying Killer Croc is our guy? Why not ManBat?

What does "objective reception" mean?

I mean if a movie announces that it's going to have 3 people donning costumes in film, the objective reception to such news would be as it is to most other films that have the same scenario(see thor/cap/batman).etc. Essentially a, 'can it work' with 3 costumes or not? The answer being wait and see.

What we have been seeing in this scenario is something that isn't an objective reception, but rather each announcement being met as some worst case scenario of sorts.

Killer Croc was never a great character, and he's not in this. Neither is Deathstroke. No Batman villains here. That's been said my multiple people who have different sources.

This is not really JLA. Dick Grayson is not supposed to be shown as Nightwing. I still doubt that Diana will actually be Wonder Woman. I dont think we'll see her in a suit until the end.

Lex is the villain, Batman is a big supporting character. And the physical threat in the final act of the movie will be a character like Doomsday. Probably a motion-cap type situation. Hulk style. Who wont have much to say. So i dont see how this is crowded or like Justice League.

Look at the MOS cast. Now subtract the people who died in the first one, who all had a presence (i just counted 6 important characters who wont be returning). Now replace them with Dick, Lex, Bruce, Diana, and we'll say Doomsday. You could even fit an Alfred scene or two and it's the same amount of people.

It's all about the writing and the balance.

Yeah, you're right. *takes deep breath*

I agree with you a thousand percent about the crowded facade that everyone is talking about. I've been trying to get that point across for a while on this board.

Jason Momoa as Lobo would be pretty cool.
