I'm betting on Lex and Metallo.

Apparently it's not Metallo. He's also a character that Goyer and Snyder never mention. The key is to watch that interview where the guys asking Goyer about Superman villains he's a fan of and would like to see. I think Parasite and Mongul were mentioned along with him/Cavill/Snyder always mentioning Lex, Doomsday, Brainiac.

This reason alone that you mention probably indicates that it is indeed a villain noone mentioned before so they don't show their hand.

Though, Parasite would be cool as well. Way cool if they in fact do use him. Lex would need Kryptonian power somehow to charge his battlesuit for Metallo or himself using Zod's leftover armor, right?

Parasite would provide the energy he takes from Superman and gives it off to Lex where the energy is broken down and manipulated through his inventions. NERDGASM!

It looks like Snyder and Goyer took a few things from JMS's Earth One book, especially Jonathan Kent's interaction with young Clark and Zod's arrival to Earth. In Earth One, Volume 2, Parasite is the feature villain. That would be great as well.

There are a ton of Super-villains that are worthy for the big screen. I'd be happy with any!

Metallo is entirely possible due to the shapeshifting/nano Kryptonian metal they showed us throughout MOS. More repurposed K-Tech...

No, there was no Kryptonite in MOS. Snyder/Goyer never said that it would NEVER be used. It simply wasn't needed in THAT film. Besides, there are other ways to Metallo without using Kryptonite.

Just because we haven't seen any Kryptonite doesn't mean it doesn't exist. We didn't know for sure Wonder Woman existed until a couple days ago.

When Zod's ship warped from the remains of Krypton, it took a lot of Krypton debris with it, there's a scene of it happening in the movie. Very large pieces of Krypton. Meaning Kryptonite does exist in this universe.

It exists the atmosphere on Zod's ship. Also Snyder said just because we've not seen it doesn't mean it's not out there.

Well I'm very looking forward to WW making her big screen appearance, it's just that I'm not sure MoS2 was the place to do it. Batman I'm looking at you as well. With backstory for Batman, Wonder Woman, and new villains, as well as Superman, how much time is left for Lois? I really hope WB knows what they are doing cause there was a great Superman story to tell without shoehorning in these other jokers. Somebody better come out soon to say how amazing this new script is to restore a bit of confidence in...Superman.

Exactly thought I would've loved an origins movie first but just hint she's a warrior and from Themyscira. She's a just slightly above a cameo appearance.
