Who wants more Daily Planet Clark in the sequel? Because I do!

Such a precious human...:hrt:

I definitely want to see a lot of Cavill's DP Clark but am I alone in hoping they give him different glasses? Not sure why, but I really don't like those. Maybe they should take a cue from Birthright here and give the glasses a slight tint to make the disguise a little more believable.

lol Redford looks like Mike Abbot in that shot.

That depends on what kind of tint they used. If he looked like he was wearing sunglasses, people would think it odd.

^ To be honest, his Clark look is just as sexy as the muscles. Hot nerds are so...now.
I don't foresee any sort of nerdiness from Cavill's Clark. I fully expect a "swell ol' chum" who happens to wear glasses. Probably not veering too far off from how he usually comes off.

The stylish geek culture just reminds me of hipsters, and that's not something I would want to see with Clark at all.

My favorite single superhero moment on film ever.

The little 'hmm' of amusement Reeve gives in response to Lois's "Who's got you!?" line. So subtle. But so quintessentially Superman.

The original Superman v. Aliens was actually pretty cool.

Perfect!Superman-that-humans-need-to-strive-toward is boring and obnoxious. I much prefer a Superman who struggles with his alien birthright versus his desire to be human. I like it when Superman stumbles over a moral area, or when he makes a mistake. His rise above such imperfections and challenges are more not only more interesting, but also offers us the chance to really aspire to be more like him.

It isn't the ease with which someone deals with a situation that touches the human heart and invigorates us. It's when the path is less clear, and more difficult, that we find inspiration.

Well, Superman is what people need to strive for. I mean, when he thinks he's going to die, his final message is simply...

Do-Good-To-Others-And-Every-Man-Can-Be-A-Superman.jpg

If people were more like that, the world would be a better place.

But, that doesn't mean he's perfect or anything.

I hate this with an unrelenting passion. Since when is it ever ok to defeat your enemy with a freaking fruit roll-up? What's worse is that it does absolutely nothing. I'm not raging or anything, but come on. Why, oh Facepalm God?
