William Fichtner was in Pearl Harbor?

When I first saw the movie, it was like 'well..so much for secret identities in this flick'.

The military....

Haha any veteran will tell you that soldiers are the absolute worst at keeping secrets. That's why "need to know" is so important.

The military as well, no? Didn't they have to pick up his ship from the house?

And like everyone in Smallville...eve though the fight was everywhere...are going to find out about the Kent household too, no?

I assumed that Clark carried it and then put it on the truck at the base to be loaded onto the plane.

It's not said who brought the ship to the base but it stands to reason Superman could have brought it to the base.

How'd they get his ship? I might have missed that part.

it's never said but I assumed he brought it to the base. They are pressed for time and it would be quicker for Superman to bring it to them instead of them getting directions...getting a truck or helo to go get it...load it and then bring it back to base.

I think we're gonna get an even better Superman in this sequel.

I do too. The thought of seeing Cavill as Supes again makes me giddy (as long as they don't make him batman's ***** for 2.5 hours).

I really hope we see him transform into Superman, Earth's protector, as opposed to "Man of steel."

I didn't mind that MOS showed us a rookie superman. I did enjoy seeing his beginnings. But...it's time for the next step and I hope to see him learn and grow into that confident superman we saw at times in MOS. I want there to be more of those moments, as well as moments of him taking joy in the fact that he can do what he's been doing for years (saving people) without having to hide anymore.

So is this what some of you guys do nearly every day nitpick and moan about MOS and or Batman vs Superman or moan about the casting decisions of Affleck or Eisenberg.?

Did El Mayimbe confirm the upcoming suit reveals? :p

But then, all thy'd have to do is go to Kansas and find the one home that was torn to shreds. That is, if no one in Smallville recognized Supes during that time before.

and they could easily just say its from the fight since it took place over a big portion of the town.

NOW...
He's gotta kill everybody who knows...
to get back his secret identity!

Man of Steel: Identity Crisis

Welcome to the Batman/Superman movie thread...don't touch my stuff:cmad:

I know it gets repetitive but being all like "OMG pics soon!!!!" for twenty pages would be moreso, no?

The Metallurgist at Kansas State possibly knows about Clark.

One thing I always found strange.

What university metallurgist would let a guy bring in a completely new metal never seen on earth before and then just let him walk out the door with it. That would have been a major scientific breakthrough and probably make that guy's career.

I assume that Jonathan knew that guy personally and that's why he was allowed to keep the find secret.

Nah, it seems no one's interested. They should just wait right before they start production and release the photos. Apparently Batfleck will appear with Cav-El and Wonder Gal will be in her own photo.

There's so much room to address the secret identity stuff in the sequel now that Batman's coming into the picture. All they need is a scene where he tells Clark something like "You think glasses are going to protect your secret in this day and age?" and follow it up with Bruce creating a program that hides Clark or Superman's face from showing up on any video footage. Or something along those lines

Pfft no. You've got us all wrong.

Sometimes we nitpick moan about TDKR.

Would that fool you if it were your mission to find out? Maybe show a few pictures of him around town (which they must have taken when he was in 'custody').

I am not saying Clark's cover isn't flimsy. It's just that pretty much the whole town got drop kicked.

I wasn't moaning about anything. I'm just killing time because I got bored of playing Angry Birds.

I got bored of Angry Birds so I tried Flappy Bird.

Then my phone went out the window.

TBH I am very close to taking a break because this thread is very much the same arguments over and over again that it's not even funny anymore.
