roach, TNN22 I am with you 1,000%.

I used to hang in the the THOR TDW threads a lot. I was anticipating that film like you wouldn't believe. Then I saw it. I was noot pleased with it to say the least. I let my opinion be known, stated why, and I don't go back to get into circular debates. I rarely check in there.

Where am I in your praise old man? :argh:

Has it been discussed in this thread about the tweets earlier today from the Forbes guy (Mark Hughes) about a potential Trinity reveal photo in the coming weeks? He said he also knows the villains and "They're dangerous and hurt Superman."

Of course, it can always be BS but Forbes is reliable I think?

There's a big difference between Forbes magazine and the Forbes blogs. Especially in terms of their writers. It's not the same as say Entertainment Weekly and Empire. I only learned that recently.

If they make Wonder Woman's costume shiny or spandexy, I'll be annoyed.

-poor attempt to converse with people-

I'm still bitter about that flaming bag of poop you left on my doorstep, and by that I mean I haven't forgiven you for giving Andy Dick my address and telling him I give out free crack.

My bad.

If the costume is too shiny, I shall never set foot in the theater! Fear my wrath! And so forth.

Still not there. You need to add something about "Nolanization" or "change" in a negative fashion...

what's the difference?

Forbes has "Staff" who write for the magazine portion (both digital and print) and "Contributors" who write for the side blogs (stuff that doesn't really have anything to do with Forbes primary content focus). Some of the Contributors are paid, some aren't. And it's not hard to sign up to be one. Not invalidating what they do, but there is a disparity.

Dang it!!!!

Ok...

If the costume is too shiny, I shall never set foot in the theater! Fear my wrath! Snyder doesn't know how to direct. If only he had the skills and talent of some other famous director, I'd feel so much better about the film.

Only my opinion of Wonder Woman counts, because I have read like 5 comics and I watched the tv show when I was younger. I know exactly how I want Wonder Woman to behave, and if she isn't that way, then Snyder, Goyer, the new writer, and everyone working on the film (including janitors and caterers) will have utterly failed to deliver a good movie.

Nolan rulez! :fhm:

And so on.

Go back and watch that scene...everyone under the under pass is looking at Jonathan...Martha screams his name...Clark looks at the people and takes a step to save his father...he knows he is about to be revealed to a large group of people.

This. The film made this pretty apparent.

Also, in terms of Pa being "swept up by wind"...he disappears in a cloud of dust carried with the tornado right before the tornado hits. I doubt the filmmakers wanted Pa's last moments to be incredibly undignified. So they let him have some dignity in his final moments. And there's a bit of metaphorical significance to the visuals of it. One moment he's there, the next he's gone.

I wan't making fun of you for anything. And b!#ching about b!#ching, repeating the same old arguments, and b!#ching some more about it has been in the SHH since it's beginning, and it always will be.

Fair enough.

It's how the cookie crumbles...into endless headaches.
