But aside from Batman Begins none of those films listed were huge budget blockbusters.
Benjamin Button was definitely a big budget movie though. But for better comparison, both Avengers and Transformers 3 had 13 months from start of filming to release.

BvS has precisely double that time.

Big budget but not a blockbuster effort that needs to have a bajillion FX shots some of which have to be shot on green screen and location. I doubt Button needs a shoot like a Superhero film.

Yeah, the average turnaround time from the first day of production to release on a big blockbuster is usually just a little over a year.

Man of Steel benefited from a lot of extra time in post due to the delay. I have a feeling this film will have the same benefit, but also more time in pre-pro for them to get their ducks in a row and improve the story.

We still don't really know if Man of Steel benefitted from a longer time until release. We know that in terms of principal photography, they stuck to their production timeline (for winter 2012 release). It's possible that the SFX houses just had a break.

True, that's a good point. That many more months in post would've added a lot of costs to the budget.

Wasn't WETA attached to JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL? I know they did the costumes, at least.

I want a scene like this done.

Batman's sneak up is eerie as hell. I won't get my hopes up on a shifty moving Dark knight for the film because he won't be seen as the creature of the night. **** it Synder make this happen, with jesse half naked in a midwank.

I would love to see those WETA costume designs for JL: Mortal...I remember some descriptions of the costumes leaked, and it sounded pretty legit

The more I think about it... the more I want Brainiac to be the villain. That's a formidable enough opponent to require Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman teaming up.

We all wanted Brainiac and Lex as the villains for this movie before we knew Batman was involved. Why does that have to change with Batman's involvement?

That's amazing. As a kid, my favorite toys were Legos and Batman action figures. It's so great that my dream of them overlapping finally exists. It's just too bad they didn't have Lego Batman when I was a kid.

has anyone seen this?

I was trying to find a word to express how I fell when I see things like this... the best I can come up with is: apotheosis.

So I guess the suit reveal didn't happen
