I wonder what this place will be like when the costumes are revealed

I watched The Lego movie the other day.

What a brilliant deconstruction of Nolan's Batmam.

Also, WB should get those writers to make Flash.

Haven't heard one good explanation why not.

When picking a title for a movie you want a title that invokes the story plot. A movie title like "Back to the future" almost gives the plot. Now comparing a title like Avengers or Iron Man or Fantastic Four...it's a name that people may not be familiar with but they are names they are called in the movies.

So comparing the titles World's Finest is weak. No one calls them the World's Finest. They don't refer to themselves as the World's Finest. It's will be confusing to people who don't buy comics.

Compared to Batman vs Superman...it's a dynamic title. You have the big guys in the title...the versus invokes the plot....it can sell the movie on it's own without a poster or trailer.

Hopefully Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will work on a DC movie.

"World's Finest" would be a really ballsy/gutsy title when you think about it. They are proudly proclaiming that these are the finest superheroes in the world. That's a bold statement. Not to mention that Superman and Batman are the first two superheroes ever. The first and the best.

It's no more ballsy than something like Quantum of Solace, if you have to explain the meaning of the title you're doing the film a disservice. Objectively World's Finest on its own is a generic title that could apply equally to dish washing liquid. Frankly you'd have to have something after it like World's Finest Heroes for it to be a genuinely ballsy statement and give it meaning, otherwise it lacks punch and its meaning obscure. On top of that it may not even suit the story they are going for. And lets remember it's not even an official title for Batman and Superman team ups, it's one the comic community has given it by default due to World's Finest Comics, the name doesn't have any real history for anyone outside of us fans. The thing with World's Finest is that there's a bit of revisionist history when it comes to where the name comes from.

One of the big suits at WB refer to it as BvS. I'm cool with this for now.

will they get will smith back to reprise the role of Muhammad Ali?

so many questions!!!

I actually like the idea of calling the film simply Public Enemies, it evokes the idea of the 'vs' concept but gives the title a bit more class.

Public Enemies IMO invokes criminals and going against the government...not two guys fighting each other.

but when will we get the highly anticipated film adaptation of

I almost got it signed by Neal Adams at my local comic-con last year.

And if they ever want to adapt that on the big screen, WB better hurry up because Mr. Ali himself is getting older. :o

I love how Batman and Lex are sitting next to each other in the crowd like best chums.

Also is that Clark Kent opposite on the other side of the ring? Sure looks like him.

Almost. It's Christopher Reeve. :yay: There's a list inside the book numbering the guests appearing on the cover.

I rewatched Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut last night and am looking forward to see how Snyder handles Batman. If he incoporates some of the great lighting/design used with the Rorschach sequences, Bats is going to be awesome.

man, I'm excited for tomorrow.

Affleck and Cavill in Detroit. Batman and Superman together on the big screen at last.

I sincerely hope the title isn't Batman vs. Superman. It has a certain...cheapness to it -reminiscent of Alien vs. Predator or Freddy vs. Jason.

I could care less about the title, it is not going to somehow change the movie

I'm not particularly fond of Batman vs Superman either, though I can't say I have anything better to offer.

Could easily just call it Man of Steel 2, and have a subtitle that refers to Batman/Wonder Woman.

This 100% agreed it really doesn't matter at all. People care too much about the title or the poster for a film. Or even a DVD cover. Who ****ing cares. Enjoy the damn movie haha.
