BvS All Things Superman and Batman: An Open Discussion - - - - Part 56

Just thinking about how epic this movie can be gets me psyched.

Even a lot of people won't agree with me, Man of Steel is the best movie that I've seen in a while. It's not about being perfectly written (obviously, heh) or about the performances, it's because of the pure excitement that I got while seeing it for the first time. That moment when Kal picked Zod up and gave that "You think you can threaten my mother" line made the movie on its own for me. It was like being a kid again and watching Luke and company take out Jabba's crew or Superman breaks Zod's hand in Superman II. Those kinds of movie moments don't come around for me very often, so I'm hoping to see more in BvS.

As Rowsdower! once said: "Stop all this positive thinking. Only negativity is allowed here."

Not just Superman fans, but what about Wonder Woman fans where WW isn't even mentioned in the title?

MoS sequel could be a combination of Dark Knight Returns, Superman/ Batman: Public Enemies, and Trinity.

The first time Batman and Superman meet in full costume, I'll probably just throw my pants at the screen in joy.

Same here, man. I'm glad I'm not the only one who is actually excited for this and not just whining about things that may or may not work.

:hehe:

Indeed.

Luckily, we have plenty of trolls geniuses in here to tell us all how we REALLY should be feeling about this movie.

It's a shame the film will be a court case drama. :csad:

Not gonna lie: this made me smile.

DC version of 12 Angry Men. Superman is on trial for the murder of Zod. Batman and WW are on the jury. :BA

I'd totally watch that movie. :funny:

Every single person complaining about this film will go see it.

Yeah, no kidding. Kevin Smith will see it six or seven times just so he can make sure he takes accurate notes on what he wants to complain about the most the next day on the Hype.

Oh my god, I'm picturing him taking notes. :funny:

Which is why I'm LOLing at those who are REALLY up in arms about the title because, at the end of the day, we're ALL gonna see it. More than once probably.

BOTH Kevin Smith's will see it 6 or 7 times. OUR Kevin Smith is still *****ing about Goyer?

Rowsdower, I'm so glad you found your way from the NFL Thread over to this board.

In fact, I wonder what Jon Gruden would have to say about this movie.
