Basic is good. We don't need it to get convoluted, especially with people getting leery with the "abundance" of characters.

From what I have heard from various people, the script itself is poorly worded and reads more like fan-fiction than a legitimate script. Not surprisingly, instead of just shooting down the rumors of it being real or fake, Kevin Smith insists on a telling a story about it in the coming 24 hours, in which he will tell how the script came to be.

The way Aquaman and Diana are brought in are pretty seamless for the most part. I couldn't really find fault in it.

I guess the only loose end would be how have the Amazons/Atlanteans managed to stay hidden.

You could say this would be their coming out party. ;)

Give us more sir.

I think there was more to that Joker card than they let on ;) Here's a few easter eggs from what I read

Joker is referenced, but he's never mentioned by name. Bruce has his razor sharp card beside him and throws it into the cave wall when he thinks Superman murdered the people on the ship.
Amanda Waller is one of the people that thinks Superman is a threat.
Leslie Willis is referenced. Her name is shown in the tv studio where Lois goes for the Morgan Edge show.
Bizarro was teased. The General asks Lex about his cloning experiments when they're talking about killing Superman and he says
"I thought you wanted to kill him, not clone him" I smiled at that :hehe:
I'm sure Kyle Rayner was teased in there.
Gordon isn't seen :( but after Batman fights the government troops in Gotham, the signal goes up and he says
"Not tonight, Jim"

So I just read that script summary on the last page and I think it would be better suited to a JL animated film than a Batman Superman team up movie. Pretty convoluted and not too much focus on the dynamic between Bats n Supes so it really should be more of a JL animated film script than anything. I'm really hoping this is fake. I'm not saying it's bad but it's not good enough for a BVS movie. This is the Kevin Smith script right? Love the guy and his movies btw.

It sounds fake, but there's promise

Talk about fan service. Just the thought of that makes me giddy.

???

That's as un-convoluted as you can get with all of those characters. Real or not, that script seems to balance it's pieces fairly well.

Script writers are fans, so I guess that does make it fan fiction
Internet fan fiction is another story

Yes, this is the rumored Kevin Smith fake script that he was commissioned to do by Warner Bros. Smith has been doing riddles about the script in the past day and insists there is a story he wants to tell the world about in the coming 24hours in which he will refer to the script.

But there's a lot of conflict going on. The one I read had Darkseid, not Doomsday. And Superman lives...even though Batman nearly kills him :hehe:

I think they could tidy it up to show more dynamics between Batman and Superman. Because it seems more like a marketing ploy lol
They fight for about 15 minutes, make up, then it's the birth of the Justice League :D

I mean it only seems convoluted for a BVS movie. Now if this is going to be nothing but a Justice league set up movie then I have no problems with the script, although i'm not liking the treatment of Cyborg who seems a bit shoehorned in there.

I'm looking forward to a Batman and Superman movie with WW in the background and hints, just hints or cameos of other characters. When it's the first outing of two such big characters such as Bats n Supes, we need to focus more on their dynamic, their trust issues, their reconciliation, their friendship. We need to see their roles cemented first before we start throwing in others into the mix. Right?

I'd lay odds that whatever Smith talks about today, that it will not help to clarify what is up with these "leaked scripts" at all unless he gives a totally blunt statement like, "No. I was not asked to do that. I have not done that. Period." I think things will still be muddy on that issue come Wednesday.

When I was a child you could often find comic books at many outlets, newsstands, supermarkets, etc. These days, there are fewer and fewer people reading comics, so during the night I was sorting through one of my drawers looking for items to donate to charity (since I give away comics in the hopes it will inspire some kid to get into comic books or rekindle an older persons interest in the medium) when I came across a stack of comic books. There were a bunch of titles; Superman, Batman, etc. As I sorted through them I was struck by how much more natural the ink and paper of the older comic books felt to my fingers. I don't feel the same way about comic books printed this century; the contents are often full of dreary superheroes and the pages have a sterile feel to them.

I take it as a given that regardless of the quality of these scripts people are going to evaluate them as awful. A lot of people love to be haters.

But some of them ARE awful. One has Lois misspelled as Louis several times.

I hope we get some clarification and not more dancing...

:hehe:

Though I did like some of the dialogue between them.
Superman's all blooded up and so is Batman, who was to said to be struggling with his breath a bit.
Bruce seems a lot more affected by the act of murder than ever before through Jason's death. He's a lot angrier in this than in previous films...:wow:

It actually sounds like there are already a few people that have some praise for the script(s).

If he wanted to clear the matter up he could have just said, yes the script is a fake. I dont see him saying yes its real. Warner Bros would be really upset about that and people tend to tread very carefully when it comes to powerful companies.

I think it is absolutely unbelievable that Metropolis could be cleaned and rebuilt in two years. It's more ludicrous than believing a man can fly.

And who says it has been completely rebuilt in two years? As far as we know, it could still be in the rebuilding process at the start of DoJ.

I actually think one of them sounds pretty good. At least the story does, script may be worse, and a good script can still be let down by poor direction and acting.

However, assuming Smith wanted to write a "bad" one based off the real thing, I think it could be pretty good.
