I did hate how Bruce was written, especially his moments with Lex.

Batman and WW still have to expose him...but are they going to? That's what makes it a weak cliff hanger...cliff hangers end on action or stated action or new information.

Zod isn't there for Kal...he's after the codex. He take Lois too because he may have given it to her. Zod doesn't know it's in his cells.

Lois goes on the plane because she's the only one who has experience with kryptonian tech and if something goes wrong she can maybe help figure it out...which she did.

Technically, I agree but the fact that we can pick up on those two things is part of what makes me think that entire part of the story was created just to keep her involved in scenes that she really had no place in, other than that they were created so she would have a place where she otherwise normally wouldn't be needed.

Then I guess she was brought aboard on a hunch and possible leverage. Actually, I believe that was the point as it turned out there really was more to the scene that featured Faora saying the infamous, "I'm incapable of emotion" line. I'm not going to debate on the quality of MOS, I'm using this one example of shoddy writing as a big no-no.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't it get broadcast all over the place that "The Daily Planet's Lois Lane knows who this guy is..."? So, yeah, Zod would have figured perhaps this Lane female knows something. I don't see the problem unless you are looking for one.

We can only assume they will, since JL is coming. but this script was ok. It did kinda read like toned down KS version.

I have no doubt that BvS will end on a cliff hanger...will that cliff hanger be letting Lex get away with Superman's death (in a movie with Batman)...doubtful

No not the leaked scripts the MOS scene after Lois is saved by Clark and they hover in a cornfield. She has to explain to Clark and the audience what happened. They could have shown it. I don't hate the movie I like it as a summer blockbuster popcorn flick, but there is some stuff that annoys me.

"show don't tell" doesn't mean no explanations in movies. The fact that she mentioned they looked in her mind gives us the reason why they brought her on the ship.
"Show don't tell" applies to emotions.
Example 1:
Superman: "I just killed Zod and now I am in anguish and pain because I am the last one and I will never kill again."
Example 2:
Superman:ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!

Superman is in pain over killing and it was shown not told. You need explanations in films. Without them you wouldn't know what anyone was doing in the Battle of Yavin or what's going on in the Ocean movies.

Superman. Standing TALL and PROUD in the SUN.

If I remember correctly the statue is crouching.
