My reaction to any information from El Mayimbe:

He pulled down his big "exclusive" from the other night about the BvS villains:

He's probably embarrassed that he got fooled by that fake script, but just pulling that article down is kind of a slap in the face to his readers

No mention of Batman V Superman for the WB SDCC panel. Unless, they wanna keep it a secret

A lot of Marvel hate up in here all of a sudden

What a "cool" guy this guy is huh? :whatever:

What a freakin narcissistic attention ****e. Hope he feels good about himself over a stupid fake script.

I can't be mad at the guy, he exposed many sites and bloggers who were full of bs.

Not really...speed is good...being a good writer is better

The point is for me it was not that bad . :cwink: (and very impressive for five days! )

Plus, I want this to succeed both financially AND critically. I don't expect acclaim, but something that is enjoyable with flaws that can only be found by the nitpickers.

I'd like it to be something akin to DoFP; an intelligent, post-modern take on the superhero genre with social and philosophical parallels infused with all the unabashed theatrical goodness we're used to seeing in the comics. In short, I want it to be a great film that appeals to fans of all ages, but, on the same token, I don't want people coming away from it thinking, "Gee, that was so gritty and realistic, it didn't even feel like a comic book movie!" No, I want it to very much feel like a cbm. DoFP really set the bar.

I can't hate the guy at all. If anything, he deserves a round of applause for putting a **** load of blog sand click-bait sites on blast.

I'm with you dude. Batman, Superman and Dick Grayson are where it's at. Those three are my trinity. They're my 3 favorite fictional characters

i like other heroes, but not much else can compare to Batman and Superman

I'm sorry but, Batman&Superman>Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Hawkeye, Thor, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch

quality over quantity, and Batman & Superman are the best characters. The Avengers 2 could have 20 heroes and it still wouldn't compare to BvS

For sure. I don't hate Marvel or Michael Bay or whatever. I typically see those movies at some point anyway. They just aren't characters what I associate with.

A perfect example would be Captain America 2. I recognize why so many enjoyed that movie, but never during the movie did I care if Cap, Fury or anyone died. It isn't the production team's fault. I just care more about the Justice League mythology as a whole. It's not that I believe that one is superior to the other. To me, they're both great in their own ways, which is why some people need to knock something else down to feel like they've built their own up.

Way too many people dismiss how hard it is to get an exciting action sequence right. Story and character development are important, but no one goes to a superhero movie excited for a verbal confrontation - especially the general audience. The action scenes are equally important in my eyes and there are a lot of popular movies that I feel could use a bump in that department. I'm glad that there are some movies that push the envelope again (Man of Steel, X-Men: DoFP, etc.) and I hope the trend continues.

That random dude and El mayimbe are going back and forth on twitter lol

I honestly doubt he wrote it either, he's just a random guy trying to take credit. Hopefully he is though and releases proof and pictures and what not to make Mayimbe look stupid.

so..........what have I missed today?
