BvS All Things Superman and Batman: An Open Discussion - - - - Part 73

I'd like it to be something akin to DoFP; an intelligent, post-modern take on the superhero genre with social and philosophical parallels infused with all the unabashed theatrical goodness we're used to seeing in the comics. In short, I want it to be a great film that appeals to fans of all ages, but, on the same token, I don't want people coming away from it thinking, "Gee, that was so gritty and realistic, it didn't even feel like a comic book movie!" No, I want it to very much feel like a cbm. DoFP really set the bar.

DoFP is the CBM to beat right now for me. I don't expect this film to be THAT good though. If it is, then I'll be doing this:

What're you talking about? There's no Marvel hate here.. not in the last two pages anyway...If that is "marvel hate" to you... then you must be a very sensitive Marvel fan.

I love Marvel comics/movies, but BvS is a way bigger deal to the world than Avengers 2 or Cap 3. Fact. BvS is a massive deal. The first time the two most famous heroes meet on screen is a bigger deal than the third Cap movie and another Avengers

This just in: Tim Burton will direct Wonder Woman with Nicolas Cage as Ares, Michelle Pfeiffer as Hippolyta, Helena Bonham-Carter as Athena, and Johnny Depp as Steve Trevor. Wonder Woman's armor will now feature more rich and darker hues.
