Breaking Bad is over Johnny... IT'S OVER.

Let it go.

You were a fan? Kudos. Here's a medal for watching a great TV drama. Now reconcile yourself with Paul never, ever playing the Flash. Cuz that's how things are gonna play out. Unless someone from the BB team gets a CBM, Paul aint getting cast. A fine actor with a great series on his resume, but... He's not Barry Allen or Wally West.

I liked season 1. It was really entertaining. But season 2 was simply great imo.

Also i'll never use the ignore feature.

Why so confident?

Probably cuz Brainiac 5 gave me keys to a Time Bubble and I stayed in 2048 for a couple of weeks. Long story short... Invest in copper. That's all the Linear Men and Waverider will let me say.

I'm Ok with some touch up. Terrio is just unproven to me with this genre. I've seen many good writers directors turn out awful stuff because they didn't get thee genre they were writing /directing. It may turn out wonderful and the combination may exceed the parts but I just don't know at this point.

A lot of people are hinging their hopes on Terrio because of his Oscar. And while it may be true, he's delivered a killer script, writing superhero movies can be a tricky balance, giving it just enough elements to finesse the script with enough nods to the culture, but fleshing out the characters in a way that not only the audience can relate, but wants to go see time & again. One thing is for sure, the script for BvS will be closely studied. So expectation will be sky high.

They suggested investing in copper in the last episode of season 2 of Lois & Clark, sort of
Maybe I should give it a try

You're telling me that if Chris Terrio delivers a script that just plain sucks as a CBM Warner Bros, Snyder, Affleck, Goyer, all those dudes will just go ahead and film it anyways because Chris Terrio !!

Now I don't know all the minutiae regarding the film industry but I would hate to find out that that's the way it works.

I didnt say that. But since you mention it, prestige carries a lot of weight in the film industry. Especially when you have won an Oscar. Why do you think Affleck brought in Terrio in the first place? A regular actor cannot do that. But somebody with Affleck's clout can. And wisely too, since Affleck no doubt realizes it will be his name in the headlines.

It's not Affleck's capacity as an actor that got Terrio in. It's the fact that he's the best film-maker involved in the project- before the ZSIDF chimes in- I'm not trying to insult Snyder, he's just not as good as Affleck.

What does Zsidf stand for?

Other than that, I've not been following this romance and replied to the situation as it was presented on the page. That was you being an arse to a reasonable post. I take things at face value. And I will continue to do so.

This is why I end up taking Zryson more seriously that 99% of the people who bash him.

Just watched the 6 episodes of Batman: Gotham Knight on Youtube. Pretty interesting series! It would be cool to see a live-action series like that - known directors and writers make 1 unique episode of a Batman story. I guess the budgets would be outrageous though!

Been thinking about this too. Political thriller vs superhero movie... the products are different, so the skills needed for each are bound to be different too. It's not like Ang Lee's Hulk never happened. I guess it's a good thing that Snyder is there to provide a counterbalance should it be needed, fan of "coolness" and comic book moments that he is.

You can't compare Ben Affleck to Zack Snyder.

They are much too different to attempt it. Comparing them is almost as pointless as comparing, say, Michael Bay and Woody Allen.

They are two VERY different directors, with two VERY different styles, and two VERY different filmographies.

Both have things that they do phenomenally, and things they don't. And they both have things they're weak at.

Now, did Affleck's clout at Warners (following his success with Argo) help his case when recommending Terrio? Definitely. That said...... I don't think that because Affleck is what some, like you, would perceive as a better filmmaker, that he has some unrestricted control over this project. At least to the point of making decisions that dont pass through Snyder.

This doesn't bother me as much I guess.

Anyone can make crap, anyone can make something phenomenal. I mean, heck, what if he's better at writing CBM than political thrillers. Why would it have to be the negative, why can't it be the positive ?

I mean I don't like Community and I already think the Russo Brothers are better at making CBM than comedy shows.

Sounds like too much power for one man in this situation. I don't think I need to remind WB what's at stake if this whole think goes awry, which I don't think it will.

I just don't see how when you've got Snyder, Goyer, Affleck and Terrio working on this how one person would be calling all the shots. They have to figure it out together. They all have varying skill sets that could complement each other very well if they only let it.

Can't wait, I hope DC universe nº 192 (Supergirl) is as good as DC universe nº 112 (Arrow). Maybe it's connected to DC universe nº 86 (Man of Steel)?

Seriously though, they should at least connect it to the MOS universe.
