One of the filming sites for the movie is the Masonic Temple in Detroit and I found this right next to it.

I don't understand the controversy with the inclusion of the SM protesters?

Snyder has said from Day 1 that the events in MOS would affect what happens in BM vs SM. To find that some ill informed people in that universe would take a dislike to an all powerful alien living secretly in their midst seems like a natural thing to occur. Plus, I bet they are spurred on by Luthor. Again, no surprise.

yeah he will be like Rupert Murdoch to Superman's Obama.

Answer: It's the Internets.

First they cry when there isn't enough of a public reaction to aliens in MOS.

Now that there is a public reaction it's supposedly an apology from Zack Snyder for 'screwing up' MOS.

In the end MOS and its fans always lose. :whatever: So it's better to just ignore.

heh, I get the impression there are more people complaining about people complaining about the protestors than the other way around.

Gotham two episodes in is a lop-sided series. While the production values are fairly high, and Gotham City is gloriously fleshed out, in some ways it resembles the 1966 Batman television series because while the dialogue and scenes around the Police Dept are serious, the villains are often saddled with cliched and cheesy dialogue. I'm hoping as the series progresses that things even out a bit in that department and the various actors are given a bit more material to work with.

Thanks for your pointless and random "review" of Gotham. Zrysonberg at it again. Gotham has nothing to do with BvS. And before anyone says it's the all things and discussions thread, yeah it it's the all things thread for BvS haha. There is a whole Gotham forum for stuff like this.

I think it also has to do with it being one of the more publicized stories about BvS in the past week. But the crowd/audience will be divided, I think, much in the same way they were over MOS.

It was nice to see that DC Comics have responded quickly to the outrage and backlash over those offensive t-shirts seen in stores, issuing a statement "All our fans are incredibly important to us, and we understand that the messages on certain t-shirts are offensive. We agree." It's also nice that they are looking at their licensing in the wake of this and product design process so hopefully this wont happen again.

Thanks for stating my favorite parts of the show.

When it comes to Zryson you honestly can't listen to anything he says haha. It's like a little kid talking sometimes. He has this way of speaking I dunno how to describe it.

the guy just won't do sequels.

was pretty obvious that he wasn't gonna take the role, not even the mighty marvel could convince him.

It pains me so much I won't get to see Phoenix as Lex Luthor. There I finally admitted it. lol

And that's not at all a knock against Eisenbeg. I have defended his casting.

I don't see a problem with the protestors at all. We are talking a more realistic approach to Superman. It makes the right sense. This isn't the Supes of old where everything is so perfect and everybody loves him. No, what you have is an alien being who's here and hiding and draws his enemies to earth and they wreck massive havoc on a major city and kills a lot of people. Why some of you believe that a lot of people aren't going to be upset and have animosity and fear of Superman is beyond me.
