I mean that every Marvel movie was about an irresponsible playboy jokester who learned responsibility in the face of necessity; the established personality of the character virtually ignored in order to meet that aim.

Green Lantern was totally about that formula. Fortunately, it failed, and illustrated why DC attempting to emulate Marvel's cinematic tone moving forward would be a mistake.

I'll admit Captain America as the exception to that rule.

So The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Winter Soldier, Thor, TDW and Avengers were all movies about irresponsible playboys learning responsibility huh :o

I also liked the scene in Incredible Hulk where Bruce and Betty are about to have sex and then we have the Hulk give a cockblock.

Yeah that was funny. But now that Banner can control the Hulk I assume he can have all the sex he wants :hehe:

Just create a subdivision of WB called DC Studios, have it all run by Bruce Timm, Geoff Johns, Paul Dini, and David Goyer as story consultants/script advisers and executive producers, and tell them to have at it. Let them attract directors like Guillermo Del Toro, Darren Aronofsky, David Fincher, The Wachowski Siblings, Jonathan Nolan, and so on. No one, I mean no one, would ever touch that studio.

It'll never happen because of how WB is structured, compared to Marvel.

WB doesn't need to.

wb dont give a sh.... for DC properties for years its clear, and only now because Marvel success they want do a DCCU.

DeVito was a good Penguin IMO. I'd still like to see a more businessman-type of Penguin, but his performance was good and creepy!

That sounds so good there's no WAY Warners would do it.

Even having Goyer on as an "idea man" would work, since that's where he shines (not so much in the writing department unfortunately :hehe::()

It was really weird how Bruce could run for blocks without changing into the Hulk, but he couldn't have sex.

Liv Tyler > running

End discussion :oldrazz:

You do raise a good point there.

You mean like Disney/Marvel? You really can't talk about the MCU without Disney entering into the conversation. I think as long as WB is raking in the piles and piles of money from a well established DCCU, I doubt they'd care that "DC Studios" would be the main name on the headlines. They just need a Feige-type exec to get things organized.

The MCU happened BEFORE THE DISNEY DEAL!!!

Marvel had the films rights to the characters and went to Paramount to do the MCU AS PARTNERS! Paramount never owned these characters rights (except maybe Hulk).

I love how she looks at the camera.

Yeah, just give her action figure her best lines from Man of Steel!!

Or the Deluxe Jenny Olsen screaming figure. With Perry White and Steve Lombard featuring awesome Stop-Sign Lever Action!!!

I want an action figure of the DWP guy.

Don't forget Nodding Dude (aka the "Sheriff of Noddingham") with Ultra-Wide-Eyes Mode!
