One of my favourite bot accounts on Twitter is "Mother Box". Type out any tweet containing the words Darkseid, Boomtube or a few others and Motherbox will reply to you with "Ping. Ping. Ping.". Pretty cool idea by whoever programmed the bot.

Since they are going with the new 52 origin, I wonder if that means Wonder Woman will fly? Also with the reference to Zeus, maybe magic and mysticism will now be a part of the new WB superhero universe (perhaps Shazam wont be a separate universe after all?) Even as a faint hope, it would be a good way to introduce other magical/based characters. It was also telling that Snyder said in a radio interview, Aquaman's trident could cut Superman's flesh.

He didn't mention Lex Luthor...OMG...is he even in this movie....raaannnntt.....raaaaavve

hmm who does that sound like I wonder? :shr:

and what he'll return for the Justice League film and kick butt. oh and the only way he dies is if it involves Doomsday.

You don't need Doomsday to kill Superman, or to have Superman fake his death.

What is Z saying this time? Does this have to do with a supposed "negative" reaction towards Ben Affleck playing Batman even after Gone Girl has come out?

The usual. Ben being 2-3 inches taller and having some age on Superman= Superman dies inBvS ect. Even though Gal is going to be WW for BvS AND JL that she is going to be recast... Same song, different tune.

And Roven not mentioning Superman when asked about the differences between Nolan Batman and Affleck's Batman means that Superman will barely feature in BvS.

Faint hope? A producer just said she IS the daughter of A GOD? To the mass audience that's mysticism/magic. They aren't obsessed with some "magic vs sci fi" dichotomy the way so many genre fans are. But then, ignoring such things is the stock and trade of many around here.

Superman will obviously feature in BvS but is his character there to merely play off the emergence of other superheroes? And to showcase Superman's reaction to the anti-Superman theme (as showed by the leaked photographs from the set?)

So par the course for him/her. Got it.

I didnt say WW was going to be recast, all I said was that I wondered how commited WB is to a solo WW film? They make a lot of statements saying they are committed, they need to get it right, but still no solo WW film (even a way to introducing the character they are including her in a movie with no reference to her in the actual title.) And since BvS is pairing up two of the biggest superheroes WB has, I wonder if this movie will now set a precedent for future WB superhero movies (perhaps like the The Flash/Green Lantern movie that has been talked about?

Again, jumping to conclusions much? There will be anti-Superman protestors in the movie who have shot 2 days worth of footage, is that enough to make it an anti-Superman theme like you are again jumping to conclusions to show? We won't know till the movie hits. The only days we saw anti-Superman protestors was day 2 of filming and an additional day 2 weeks ago, but yeah, that should be enough to make the whole movie about why people hate Superman.

Off topic: I see now why Cap 3 wouldn't move it's date. They signed RDJ to it and will be based off Civil War.

The more Fake and Krypton keep quoting Z, the more moot the ignore feature becomes. :o

I could get on board with a missing body. I could see Batman revealing that he has it to another hero at the end of Justice League. Or maybe Lex gets it and brainwashes Supes, making him the enemy for another movie?

And RDJ is getting 40M plus backend for the movie. I am sure he isn't crying over The Judge flopping last weekend. He is making bank, probably will end up with over 60-70M all said and done.

Really? I've been a bit busy so I'm a little behind when it comes to movie news. I'm not very familiar with Civil War? I think I've read about it in passing when researching things in the library at university. As for CA3 well it will be huge. Even more so if they star Iron Man who is undoubtedly massive. As for WB moving the date of BvS I think they did it because of the competition but also because they know how much is at stake for this movie, and they want to position it somewhere they believe it wont have a lot of direct competition from other successful franchises. Either way, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top in 2016.

Are they going to be filming into next year, or will it wrap up by the end of December?

The reports I've seen said December unless the filming slate changes and they need to reshoot some things.

The 25th anniversary of Batman 89 Blu-Ray release has been delayed until December.....except at Best-Buy.

The big box retailer will be able to sell the movie on November 11 as previously announced, but Warners says that other "e-tailers and retailers" will have to wait, implying that, unlike most major releases in the current home entertainment market, Batman will not be made available digitally in advance of the formal release date.

To help mark Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC Entertainment’s milestone 75th anniversary of DC Comics’ popular Batman character, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) will release Batman 25th Anniversary Two-Disc Edition, a new Blu-ray™ edition debuting December 9 (at $24.98 SRP) in the studio’s distinctive new sleek Diamond Luxe collector-style packaging. With its state-of-the-art sophisticated and durable design, the new packaging is perfect for those wishing to add this edition to their home libraries. Also included is Batman: The Birth of the Modern Blockbuster -- a look at the phenomenal marketing, extensive merchandising and franchise foresight that set the template for the next 25 years of tentpole pictures.
