Great finale. I just don't understand why they keep needing to destroy the city in finales...

Well they said that this is the last time they destroy the city

Mixed feelings right now so I haven't voted, I'm hovering around a 7. Loved everything between Ollie and Slade, and the action. I also like the introduction of Supermax and the set up for Ollie being in Hong Kong and working for Waller next season.

Not sure what to make of what they did with Sara, Laurel, Quentin and Felicity, and I hated what they did with Thea.

Perfect 10!

I would have liked the Roy/Thea screen time to be shortened and use more Waller, but not a huge grievance as we'll be seeing her in season 3.

I rolled my eyes when Malcolm was talking to Thea about her family lying to her and stuff, then they had Roy say he was done with the Arrow, and she just had to find some arrows under his bed... how does she now they were weren't from a long time ago? Huh? Huh? Huh?! :oldrazz:

I just don't buy that Thea would go away with Malcolm. I can buy her leaving town by herself, I can buy her wanting to get stronger, I can buy her being fed up with everyone around her...but I just cannot buy her leaving with Malcolm, for any reason. I'm sorry, but I can't.

That Olicity fake out is going to probably kill some people I know.... So thanks Writers :D (joking!). That being said, the fact that they actually did manage to trick Slade was sweet.... Used his mania and anger against him.

Hope Quentin survives, would be a shame if he did die as you know we'll just get 75% of Season 3 with Laurel back on the drink and drugs again, *****ing at anyone and everyone that wanders by... Then a sudden 180 where she's magically perfectly fine! (I'll stop there before this become's a rant against the character alone (not Cassidy I must add)).

Had a good laugh at Nyssa's meeting with Felicity, the comedic beat was played well.

Lyla's entrance was badass.

Man, I wish I was watching this in a room with all the Oliver/Felicity shippers. Just to see the pure joy on their faces when Ollie said he loved her. Then to see the massive disappointment when it was all just a plan to fool Slade.

Browsing Tumblr will be the next best thing.

The writers tried to make it up to them with the final little scene on the island.

Oliver and Felicity, at some point, is inevitable. It's just a matter of time. And will probably end in her death, or something, since Laurel's almost certainly the "endgame."

This was by far the thing I disliked the most, like Laurel edging closer to being BC I felt it was coming, but this just makes much less sense, where as the Laurel thing is just personally not what I want to see, in the narrative I guess it works.

I was terrified when Oliver said he loves Felicity I literally shouted No! When it turned out to be a trick I was so relieved and impressed, the ending with them together panicked me as well. I like Laurel now so I'm fine with her journey to be Canary, hopefully Roy gets a costume to go with the mask. Thankfully Slade lives and hopefully now in the next season Ollie starts to lighten up, grow a beard and resmeble his comic counterpart more.

Also, FLASH!

Lyla's entrance was badass.

My favorite part of Nyssa's appearance was Lance's one-liner after she promised she'd die before any harm came to Sara.

"Here's hoping."

This has done more for a DC hero's world than any film has yet, and I love most of those.

The relationship of Ollie's friends, enemies, and rise as a hero has been outstanding.

They can be fun and have still bring the feels, rock the best in action and have the best nods to comicbook stuff.

Seriously, these guys are on a roll.

Agreed, bro. :woot:

I still hope if/when they do an Arrow/Flash crossover, they have to team up and head to Bludhaven for a special mission, and cross paths with Nightwing... Bring some more characters in on the show. I guess that may not happen if they have plans for the Bat-Family on the big screen, though.

I loved the finale! The pacing was great. And Slade is not dead! Dig and Oliver have kids! We are off the island!

The Olicity felt forced and it was great that it was forced and fake and in the end it was what brought Slade down. The "weak" link. At that point I was just "what are they doing? now? like this? they are going to kill her!". But all was well and their friendship continues to grow in a nice way.

The resolution to Sara/Laurel was also great (minus the dying dad 20 meters away) and I hope that Laurel continues to grow to non annoying character. At this point for me less is more but maybe that can change.

And also, FLASH!

Also, how about that Ollie : Slade :: Green Arrow : Deathstroke back-to-back fight?

I'm so happy they didn't kill Slade...

Shippers got what they deserve! lol

I knew something was off with that scene, it didn't make sense for him to say that he loved Felicity when just a couple of episodes back he wanted to live with Sara, besides, Ollie would not say they got the wrong woman, he still loves Laurel too.

On the whole Thea thing, yes, it was poorly written, they could've saved us all the contrived drama by just having her accepting Malcolm's help at the train station while being conflicted about it. But yeah, many of us were right about her leaving with him to train and become the real badass Speedy.

I doubt Quentin is going anywhere, he's their James Gordon, but we'll see. And last but not least, finally Laurel is heading in the right direction, it took longer than necessary, but she will be the Black Canary. :woot:

I really didn't like what they did with Thea. :( She was one of the best characters. Very level-headed

I did like those Jim Morrison pants she had in that limo, haha...

Just gonna leave this here.....

......we do not need more whitewashing of characters especially the awesome ones.

She's going to need an evil persona before she becomes Speedy.
