If she has to be someone, let her be Arrowette and then retire the costume like the character does. Introduce Mia later on.

I actually think the Thea thing was well played. Over the back end of the season she had become so volunerable her whole life had fallen apart. Malcolm showed up at the right time and gave her something no one else did. Honesty and direction what plans the dark archer has for innocent Thea is exciting.

I like that Malcolm was actually crazy enough to let her shoot him. Yeah, he was wearing a vest, but if she'd shot him in say, the head, then he'd have been screwed.

Had a good laugh at Nyssa's meeting with Felicity, the comedic beat was played well.
I wished she had said, "I'm Felicity Smoak, the b**** with wi-fi"
I loved the finale, enjoyed every part of it. They weren't kidding when they said it was going to be like a movie, and that isn't even talking about effects/action/sets.

I don't know, this felt a little underwhelming, still pretty darn good, but I guess I was expecting more.

Haha, shippers got trolled hard.

Very good episode though (9/10). Loved the Slade/GA fight and the "when did you learn to fly a plane" was hilarious.

Wow, this a good finale. Much better than season 1 in my opinion.

Dang man! fists and arrows and babies and Supermaxes! whew! i am spent!:cwink: glad they didnt kill off deathstroke! that dude is too good a villian to be wasted and Manu Bennett is to good a talent to let go. dug the batman/ joker switcheroo of " you made me the Hero!" ( instead of the other way around!) Slade has got to be pissed off about that!
I felt bad for Roy but that dude needs to come back hard as Arsenal!
for a minute i thought Harley Quinn was going to get sprung out of her cell!freaking loved it!
oh and that FLASH TRAILER WAS OFF THE CHAIN!!! Damn DC has it going on with these shows!

I love how they mirrored Oliver's fight with Slade in both past and present.

With Sarah rejoining the League of Assassins, I can see both Dinah Laurel and maybe Helena Bertinelli joining the group. Roy is staying and since he broke up with Thea, I can see Cheshire or Artemis in his future

Haha, shippers got trolled hard.

I was wondering when it happened how will they write themseles out of this, I thought they would let it linger till next season(ie cliffhanger). I laughed my ass off it was 5 minutes later.

I knew when I saw those stills about Deathstroke with Felicity, there would be more to the story and I was right

All that being said besides the good chuckle at the producers screwing over Olicity fans, I could have lived without the shipper stuff yet again, it doesn't really do the show favors constantly putting in shipper pandering stuff(once again we get another Ollie needs a speech from Felicity moment *yawn*).

On the plus side I like how they basically closed the season long storyline so they can start next year's story fresh(as a fan of Smallville that was one of my hugest pet peeves(ie terrible closure to cliffhangers))

I was a bit disappointed in that Olliver put the arrow through slade´s eye without ANY skill... Just dumb luck. That really belittled the character. In that case he was incomplete and why not leave Slade completely blind. I expected Olliver to actually deliver the blow in combat, much like he won when slade was out of the mirakuru which i thought was a really good out-thinking part on the Team and Olliver.

I expect Slade´s power to come back and that the cure is NOT final but rather he gradually gets his powers back.

Cop-out or not, I think it's pretty evident that Oliver and Felicity hooking up with each other is a definitely lock in somewhere down the road.

The amount of teasing that the show has done, along with all of the "shipper" moments that the two have had throughout this season makes it very evident imho.

Honestly, my biggest three issues for the episode were primarily around Sara, Laurel, and Roy.

1. Since when did Roy know how to fight in a disciplined manner, let alone shoot well? The last time I checked, he couldn't even get one shot right. And the only training that we've seen Oliver give him was back when he was just having Roy hit bowls of water repeatedly. I just can't buy that Roy can suddenly kick ass, especially against those who had the mirakuru in them.

2. I really fail to see on how Sara going back to the LOA is her making her own choice. Didn't she just tell Oliver that by bringing them there for help that she had to pay the price by going back with them? Kind of counter productive. I feel like this whole episode went against everything that she was trying to learn throughout the season.

3. Laurel....I feel like she really needed a few episodes of her for that transition period of when she was getting her groove back on after a season and a half's worth of her being a drunk drug addict. It just felt like the mantle of BC being passed to her felt so forced and could have used better build up. Plus, it didn't make sense in its timing given on how the previous episode just had Sara starting her "Canary" persona to the public in terms of being viewed as a heroine.

What an amazing finale. Goddamn I love this show :wow::woot:

I could be wrong but I honestly believe you are setting yourself up for disappointment. it just seems the producers love shooting out a scene here and there every episode to make Olicity fans happy but it feels like it will go nowhere in the end.

1. Agree
2. She probably did that to have Laurel and Quentin at ease.
3. Agree but it is being done slowly....

My only gripe with tonight´s episode is all of the sudden EVERYONE said I love You. Felt Odd and forced.

I kind of liked Nyssa using Ra's Al Ghul's line from Batman Begins about "doing what is necessary."

I think all three may be addressed in the 3rd season.

Pretty much perfect finale, will flow much better with the previous episode and this back to back.

I don't get how people were sucked in by the Ollie and Felicity scene since it happened directly after she told him to out-think Slade and it focused on Ollie having a brain spark moment, not to mention his wording of "Do you understand?" and the fact they were in a house we knew was full of surveillance devices.

Dark Arrowette? Emiko perhaps?

While obviously taking liberties Emiko fits Thea's storyline pretty well.

Incredible finale, incredible season. Totally topped the S1 finale. I absolutely loved how the current fight and the one in the flashbacks mirrored eachother. Just great stuff. And Ollie's plan against Slade? Brilliant. Glad Slade is alive as well and still badass even in defeat. It'll be interesting to see what they do with Thea as she joins Malcolm.

Can't wait to see what they have in store for season 3. Bring it. Also...HONG KONG FLASHBACKS!!

1. Yeah, that bugged me to. Which is weird because I liked Roy's character a lot this episode, just not how they used him.

2. She voluntarily chose to go back to the LOA when she didn't have to. They didn't put a gun to her head and force her to come back, she sought them out. And she make a selfless sacrifice to save innocent lives, so it fits her character progression just fine. And the LOA helped stop Slade from wiping out the city and everyone in it, so it wasn't "counterproductive" at all.

3. Laurel's been the weak link this entire season.

I gave this episode a 7 and here's why: The past couple weeks have been epic episodes. Mainly because they were all leading up to something. They were in depth, thrilling, emotional and even shocking at certain times. However, I felt let down with the season finale tonight. Almost as if I bought into too much hype leading up to it. Now don't get me wrong, it was a good episode but it didn't keep me hanging like the season 1 finale and wanting more but knowing I had to wait a couple months before I can see new episodes. Without giving away spoilers for those that haven't seen it yet, the events that transpired in the final 5 minutes that were meant to be cliffhangers were just "meh".

With all that said, it's been a great season for "Arrow," and I can not wait to see what villains, and maybe other possible heroes, they bring in for season 3.

Perhaps, but i wonder why she would even go back to the LOA in the first place. I mean she talked about how she did so many horrible things for them and now, after everything that she's been through this season, she wants to go back to them and do that again?
