I was having a conversation with some dude...the conversation itself isn't so important...but at the end he said "You need to get laid." I said I wasn't the type of guy to just randomly bang some chick I didn't know, and he asked me what world I lived in. I said I don't measure my worth by what society stipulates and that I am my own alpha male, and suddenly the dude's all pissed off at me and offended, saying that I think I'm better than everyone else. I'm not! It's an expression of societal independence and self-confidence.
