I'm surprised u haven't come across it. It's not hard to miss, just look at the top of the leader board, of someone is like 1/2 with over 10,000 pts, u damn know theyre boosting. The highest iv seen is like 26,000 pts.

But yea, I do the same when I see them. Team kill, then file a report of cheating.
 
Any tips on rackin up more xp? Ive only had it for a few days and im usually in the top 3 players ( played alot of BC2 ), but I seem to be ranking up really slow.

Leveling up is very slow in this game, it's also not very rewarding. It's rare that I see the next upgrade and get excited about it.
 
Ah well. The experience is the fun part for me. COD is all about leveling up and getting killstreaks. This is very different. Nice to feel like part of a team and not just out playing for my own self
 
COD is whatever you make it dude. I play COD to shoot people, I play BF3 to shoot people. I guess I like to shoot people(in video games).
 
I encountered my first actual cheater last night. He was using some glitch that made him completely invisible. Hopefully DICE is aware of that issue and they can patch it; no idea how he did it, though.

Also, the more I've been playing Recon, the more I'm thinking the SOFLAM/mobile needs both a buff and a nerf. I think you should get more points for spotting/lasering with the devices, but you should only be limited to 10 "spots" per device (not limiting lasers, though).

The reason I say this is because last night I can admit it was a bit cheap sometimes when I used the UAV bot. You seriously just fly it around and you can press "spot" from sooooooo far away and it still spots enemies for you. And most of the time, nobody knows to shoot it down, so you can just fly it around and spot endlessly.

I dunno. I understand that's kinda the point of using it, but it might be a bit less cheap if you were either limited your spots or you couldn't spot until you're closer range or something.

Well, I got that today... Got called a hacker in the next round.:whatever:
 
Haha will it's extremely suspicious. U generally don't see points that high in one game.
 
My friend and I reckon you should get some assist points for being just a helicopter pilot. It sucks that you can be so instrumental in a team winning as a transport chopper pilot but have a score that poorly reflects how much you contributed. Something like, 20 points for every person you spawn, with a chopper assist ribbon or something would be nice.
 
The unlockes for vehicals are stupid and in there just in there for the sake of unlocking stuff.
The chances of you actually getting a go of a jet for the chance to get the unlockes, is slim. It also basically promotes one of the largest problems in Battlefield that to this day, Dice are still too incompetent to fix, camping for air vehicals.
 
I like how you can spawn in vehicles lol, if you get in a jet there's a good chance you can stay in it the whole match. It makes me wonder why idiots are still camping around the vehicle spawns. I usually play normally until the person flying the jet blows up and I suicide to try and get it hahah.
 
This games pretty different from call of duty though. BC2 was more like call of duty id say

The way helicopters work is stupid as far as points go. If you're a gunner, you don't get any points towards the chopper. Like, wtf is that? I've spent many games as a chopper gunner and I've killed many a soldier with the minigun from the chopper only to see a big fat "0" in the chopper category after we win. It's really stupid IMO.

I think the whole score system could use a few tweaks. You should be rewarded more for teamplay aspects than you are now; ie: spotting as a sniper, repairing as an engee, ammo drops/revives, etc. because they encourage teamplay which is what BF is all about.

Like, it's pretty lame to be an engee sitting in a helicopter repairing it the whole match and getting barely any points out of it. Yet, it can be a pretty pivotal role, so it's like a rock and a hard place.
 
See, you get heaps of point as an assault and support class, but it doesnt feel evenly balanced across every type of team contribution.
 
I can't wait for BTK. I love the default BF3 maps but I'm craving some new stuff.
 
It's more than a couple of Guns Pat, I think it's closer to 10 or 12.
