Funny enough just judging by first look pictures he's less intimidating to me, and more sad looking. I know he's gonna be the biggest Batman but Bale and Keaton's eyes were a big reason why they were intimidating to me. But we can't see those in the pic so we'll see.

makes me wonder if they'll give him lenses so well see his eyes but they'll glow white in the dark, giving us the best of both worlds.

Admittedly your right, my main gripe with the suit is that it doesn't stir anything in me. I saw it and literally thought meh. And like I said this is probably fueled by the fact that I am not excited for this project and very nervous as to what might transpire. Anyway I think I have derailed the thread enough, for those of you who are excited congrats and good for you.

Actually that's more than reasonable. If the suit doesn't do anything to raise your hype coupled with your already existing doubts about the production, I can't really fault you for that. It's going to take more than a suit reveal to turn you around on this, and that's fine. Hopefully the final product changes that.

Ben Affleck could get that acting praise for Gone Girl. If his character is as compelling on the screen as he is in the book, he could pull a McConaughey come Oscar season.

You can't base a performance based on a trailer.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I actually like longer ears than shorter ones. I know they're adapting the Batman outfit from Frank Miller's TDKR, but the reason why I prefer longer Bat-ears is because whenever I see shorter ears, it made me feel like they belong to Catwoman, since she has shorter ears. And I think longer ears make Batman seemed a bit more lethal, like his design in Arkham series. But it appears that everybody else besides me love the shorter Frank Miller ears.

Btw, this is the second time Affleck has adapted the Frank Miller design, first with Daredevil (because the movie was following Miller's Elektra saga), and now it's TDKR. I guess it's true that he's a huge Miller fan irl.

Not me, I was one of the few who was happy with the choice of Ben as Batman.

I concur! Ever since Ben has taken onto film making I've been a growing supporter of his work: Gone Baby Gone, The Town, Argo... all have made me extremely interested in his work; I felt his performance in Argo, given he was under his OWN direction, showed me how I can envision is rendition of Bruce Wayne and Batman.

I am cautious granted that I am not exactly head over heels with Zack Snyder directing, but so far I'm EXTREMELY pleased with what I have to see: Ben in the outfit looks AMAZING. Kevin Smith wasn't joking around when he said it looked like it came straight out of a comic book.

I would say his look is a hybrid of the new 52, but more so Frank Miller's logo from TDKR, Jim Lee's Hush Cowl, and the overall design from Batman Inc.

I will go as FAR as to say... this IS, for me at least, the best Batman suit today. OUTSTANDING job, I love this costume so much!

He's looking big there, huge chest on him now. That's perfect. The seasoned batman is always shown as being huge not lean and slight like Bale. Under the suit he's going to look really intimidating.
