I think "Where are the other drugs going?!" worked because it was truly unexpected. But it seems like shouting was his go-to interrogation tactic, rather than a last resort.

I like the lack of exclamation points. I personally find the idea of a person being calm in a traditionally tense situation to be unsettling, as he or she is more mysterious that way.

He pretty much does exactly that when he interrogates Scarecrow in Arkham in BB.

He doesn't sound like he's shouting at all during Crane's hallucination. It's just....distorted and aggressive. Shouting is "Where's the trigger?" and "You'd never give it to an ordinary citizen".

Since it's said more or less the exact same way, it's hard to not feel like it's an editing goof :P

Oh well, the mistakes in Begins give it more personality

And Bruce doesn't whisper all the time. I'm not saying that's how he should sound when he's interrogating somebody, that's how he should sound when he's talking normally under the cowl.

As for the voice, I say he should do something distinct to him rather than going off of someone else's performance.
