^ Can't wait to see what Cyborg looks like!

If I was to be really picky, I'd say it looks like Superman's 'Kryptonian' suit and Batman's suit material look too similar. I wouldn't change a thing though really. Honestly it's perfect. It's so much better than the Nolan armor. I thought we'd get maybe something like a grey Captain America suit to distinguish between the alien and earthly fabrics but it's no biggie. Batman and Superman have always dressed fundamentally the same, and it's never addressed, or had to be, in the comics.

I wonder if Flash, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter are all gonna have this same suit material too. That's kinda a bummer. The nice thing about the Avengers is everyone has a really unique aesthetic. Cap, IM, Hulk, etc. The JL is pretty samey that way.

I feel like this is Snyders answer to spandex. The material molds to the body like spandex but the texture makes it seem way stronger. I'm thinking the other heroes will have that same textured suit as well.

.

Here's what suits of other heroes (Apart from Superman and Batman) would look like -

Cyborg = Iron Man.

Wonder Woman = A bit like Lady Sif.

Flash = A suit made of similar materials as Superman's suit.

Green Lantern = A combination of practical suit (like Superman's suit) with added CGI to make it look as if the Suit is made of constructs.

The material is not the same on both suits. The Superman suit is more glossy and has a different texture. The Batman suit is a more fabric based suit that has a look of weaved Kevlar. The genius in both suits is that they both give the impression of musculature through the suit but in different ways. From afar or in the dark at night the Bat suit will appear almost like muscular skin, as it is adhering close to the body. While if inspected up close or in the light than the Kevlar like fabric and armor will be visible. Where as from afar or in the dark at night the Superman suit will appear almost just as a mass with no musculature shown through. While if shown in the light all of the musculature is visible and it has a sheen. This is absolutely genius. And is a great way to illustrate the characters themselves. Superman should be presented in the light as should his suit. While Batman should be presented in the dark. I love both suits they are different yet uniform enough that they should exist in the same universe. I am extremely excited to see what they do with Wonder Woman, Aquaman (I'm guessing they will use a similar concept to Superman and Batman's suit but with wet suit qualities that would differentiate it in the same way as the Batman and Superman suits.

This is what came to mind the first time I saw the suit's texture. It just has a more organic, musculature vibe to it than that of Supes, which separates them enough IMO

To be fair, there is a difference between to people wearing the same plain shirts in different colors and two people wearing the same patterned shirts in different colors. The more detailed that is added, the more the suits can either look the same or different.

It's doesn't bother me but don't feel you need to make excuses for the way you feel about it -- it's completely understandable.

I can't see how the suits look familiar at all. Superman's suit emphasizes the ethereal quality of Superman. Look at the muscular details of the torso. We have abs that look different, and the shoulder blades look different too. All that, just to signal to the audience that Superman is not of our world. Moreover, the Superman suit is simple and to the point. It's shiny and pristine, which implies that Superman represents the ideal of hope (further referenced by the symbol of the House of El). The simplicity of the suit sells the idea that Clark isn't someone who would do what Bruce would do, as it pertains to using fear and deception to sell an idea. Clark is an honest man and wants to be trusted the "right" way so to speak.

On the other hand, Batman's suit emphasizes the human quality of Batman, and the extent he goes to create something bigger than himself. Look at the muscular details. It looks exactly how a human would be expected to look. All the pecs, abs, etc are in the right places as one would expect. Though, the overall look of the costume and the fact that it deceptively looks like it's bonded to the skin, creates the idea that Batman is otherwordly using fear and deception. Thus, you have your two ideological differences in these suits alone. The other difference is that compared to Superman's shiny suit, Batman's suit looks more gritty, worn out and scarred. Which is very evocative of their skill sets: Superman can effortlessly take out criminals and save the world, while Batman continually puts himself in harm's way in order to do what's right.

I actually wanna see Batman beating the living poop out of thugs and enjoying it a bit. Like, the scene from TDKreturns part 1 when he is handing that guy off the roof...ahh chills everytime.

I did like the "We aren't in a position to negotiate" moment.

I think that in order to differentiate himself from Bale, Batfleck would have to be downright SINISTER, rather than just dark and angry. Which would be a welcome change :)

Really? Don't think so. Look closely here.

If Bruce discovers Superman's secret identity, what's stopping Superman from using the memory wiping kiss. :o

I can see Superman discovering Batman's identity first with his X-Ray vision in the MoS sequel before Batman discovers Superman's.

Apparently nobody saw my post, Adam Hlavac made that...I think he said he is doing more

Man I hope the costume is dark blue just so I can see all the people b****ing about that possibility for years to pop up.

I don't think it can be a blue cape and cowl, and the rest black.

Kevin Smith already confirmed the cape, cowl, and symbol are black.
