Is anyone else as excited to see Affleck as Bruce Wayne as they are to see him as batman?
I have to say I am very interested in seeing Affleck's Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne is a hugely important part of Batman. The out of costume Clark and Bruce interaction possibilities just make me giddy.

I think Ben has a chance to give us a truly funny "public persona" Bruce, and a really driven and no nonsense private Bruce.

Me too. Yay Bruce and Clark. Clark forgot his glasses in this pic though...

Getting Affleck on board was the best decision WB took after Bale's Batman, now I can't imagine anyone more suited for the part.

I want some scenes for Bruce and Clark ! (Not just Batman and Superman.)

Ben and Jennifer don't want to work together again...a they've stated that in the media multiple times

Well that's good news, I think Garner is an awful actress.

I have no worries about Affleck as Bruce Wayne, I think he has done roles that show he's fully capable of that side of the role. My trepidations all stem from how well he will do as Batman. The voice inflection, the serious darker side, the intimidation factor. That's the side that has me alittle worried. But I definitely think he's capable of it, it's just something we haven't seen from him before and something I think he will have to dig alittle deeper inside himself as an actor to create.

Was watching MOS earlier today... Man, seeing Ben's Bruce/Batman playing off of Henry's Superman/Clark simply HAS to rock. The wait is figuratively ALMOST going to kill me.

It should apply to Bruce as well. I've always held the impression the best Batman actors are those who can successfully portray "the persona" both in and out of the cowl. Even if Bruce is in completely normal clothing, by his lonesome, ideally I should get the aura of Batman naturally emanating from him.

I am very excited about Fleck. He's a big name ala Clooney, and I suppose Kilmer, mixed in with the preconceived doubt of Keaton. His batsuit rocks, the batmobile seems solid and the fighting is sure to deliver. And all that aside, I think he will provide a good Bruce Wayne.

I cannot wait for his Bruce Wayne, more so when conversing with Alfred.
Still makes me giddy to think of Ben and Jeremy Irons bickering at each other.

We're bound to get a healthy portion of him too which is pleasing, based on the title alone. This isn't going to be cameo territory, but a shared experience.

We all know Batman and Superman meeting together for the first time ever is going to be an absolute cinematic treat, but the fact that it's THESE two just has me more excited.

Can I chill with you in the BatFleck cave?

I got EVERYTHING in the BatFleck cave. However, I'm too busy watching the two greatest movies in existence: Terminator 2 and Space Jam.

At some low point in the movie (Say, it looks like the chips are down or that Luthor is going to get off Scott Free) I would so love some buddy cop style humor to be engaged in, which lifts their spirits and diffused what ever tensions are between the two.

The way i see it, is that the climax of the film has to be Batman and Superman teaming up anyway, as much as i personally want to see Superman with Batmans hands wrapped around his throat DKR style, I'm more excited to see them both team up against a hoarde of Lex Luthor metallo styled robots, because....that's the sort of thing you show children, and THATS the sort of thing that stays with them for years.

agreed [YT]L0QLRc4VkhA[/YT] Top 10 Ben Affleck Performances:woot::woot:

I already saw it, but thanks to you i rewatched it. Affleck is in my eyes a solid actor who can be very good (Goodwill hunting, the Town, state of play) he is perfect physically..i don't think that Batman will be an easy part for him, i don't think that his sensibilities are taylor made for the role, i don't think that Snyder is the best director actor in the world, BUT somehow i'm pretty sure that it will work. Affleck has a revenge to take as an actor after daredevil ( imo he was ok in it) he seems commited to Batman, he has Chris Terrio writing the screenplay and i'm pretty sure that after Nolan take, they will reinvent Batman with a lot of care. Even more, Affleck has the surprise factor with him. A lot of people expect him to fail. I think that he will surprise us all.

There isn't much acting with Batman anyway, Bruce Wayne might be a bit tougher..
