You'll never see me crap on Stallone. The man has looked awesome for years and one can only hope to look like that at 67. Yes he's a fan of dat dere but it's still healthier than taking an aspirin or drinking alcohol like crazy.

As for Affleck he's definitely looking good.

The veins look more pronounced in some pics than others. Perhaps lighting as well as his activity level effects it. Regardless, mad respect for his work ethic.

If you're talking about stallone, it'll be from the substances, not just bf%. They effect your heart, you can see it in Arnie too, because of his heart condition, though to a lesser degree.

I completely disagree. Batman and Superman have always been similarly built...they've both always been muscular, broad men.

Comparing them to RDJ and Hemsworth isn't the same at all. Stark has always been a scientist/playboy. He's always been portrayed as slim.

Compare that to this.

Then see how close Bats and Supes are portrayed.

You definitely can't use Jim Lee's drawings to make your point, since every single man has the same body with him (not to mention almost the same face).

Even given Jim Lee's inability to draw any male without the physique of Bane, the side by side in the center indicates that he intends Superman to be bigger than Batman. Superman has those weird, spherical biceps.

By the way, Affleck's jaw looks awesome. You might say that he looks...jawsome?

Affleck does look jawsome, his jaw/chin is far far more important than a physique that can easily be padded or lit in a certain way to make him look great in every shot in the film.

I've personally always felt that it made more sense for Batman to be bigger than Superman, considering that one doesnt really need a bigger body to begin with. (It's why I love the reeve superman)

It makes as much sense for Batman to be a hulking muscular man as it does Batman, which is to say, none at all.

Supes has the sci fi power thing and Batman would be in great shap but the super jacked he man thing is not really what a fighter like Batman would look like either. Something like an Olympic gymnast more than a bodybuilding devotee. But, the last 25 plus years has seen both get big due to a lot of artists and fans liking the larger and super defined look. So it's cool that Cav-el and Batfleck are putting in the time. I do wish Ben could get into the shape he had in THE TOWN. We'll see. Maybe he will. He's looking dandy to me right now.

Affleck seems to have a naturally bigger frame than Cavill. His shoulders are very broad and his chest is huge even when he isn't prepping for a role like this.

I remember in some Silver Age story they had him sparing with big bulky robots at the fortress and things like him doing some activities, like getting Mongol jr. to train him to fight Impriex, or doing Kryptonian martial arts has popped up from time to time but he's never been like Goku or something. His physique has been usually chalked up to his solar energy powers (for some reason) and the fact that Kryptonians have developed incredible bodies as part of the whole "super advanced society" deal.

Long before I even heard of DBZ I always thought Supe should do some kind of work out and fight training. Now I think it would be seen as too derivative.

He could maybe have droids similar to the security one in the ship in the arctic. Training his strength and speed etc. I doubt we'll see any of that though.
