BvS Ben Affleck IS Batman - Part 25

It also has to do with Ben doing the rounds for Gone Girl and the media trying to stay relevant to todays' pop culture, they must ask him about Batman. I'm sure we hear a lot more about Superman early next year when Henry does his rounds for his movie.
This...
As far as the title goes.

They opted for "v" rather than "vs." This suggests a battle of philosophies and ideologies as opposed to just a simple physical bout - not unlike a court case. As with court cases, the challenger appears first.

Batman challenges Superman (the protagonist), which makes Batman an "antagonist" of sorts.

And when all is said and done, "Batman v Superman" rolls off the tongue better. A two-syllable word leads into a three-syllable word. Better flow.
But, but they will fight all the time.. It's a battle movie:o
You're too late. It's already happened. Henry complimented Ben, but his body language kind of told another story.

I found it interesting and telling how Ben Affleck complimented "the competition" Chris Evans and Hemsworth's physiques in an interview, yet couldn't be assed to mention his co-star Henry Cavill. It might not have been a deliberate shading on his part, but who knows.

The first one is just odd, and I don't believe it.
Uhm... what about not being permited to talk about him or the cast you know.. UNTIL THE REAL PROMOTION BEGINS...

I think in the end they just wanted Ben Affleck in the role. His height probably wasn't a big factor overall in their selection and they are just using the height difference he does have with Cavill as sort of a selling point in a way now after the fact.
I think it too.. It's Ben's year of promotion due Gone Girl, they need to give credit to his new Batman.

If you parse through some of the Bruce Timm DCAU episodes, you'll find that Conroy's experienced Batman is actually quite a few years older than Daly's rookie Superman. The dynamic they share on that show might actually give us some insight into the minds of Snyder, Roven, Terrio et al -- what they have in store for these characters.
While I'd say that in screen we wouldn't notice the height difference, Older, taller I don't care... what I care are essence of the character and interaction between them.

What don't you believe? Henry's trying to talk about his conservation program he's backing, but of course the lady insists on shoving a question about Ben Affleck in there.

Um, no. If Ben Affleck's "permitted" to make comments about the movie, which he has, he wouldn't be restricted from complimenting a co-star.

I don't note a dislike or anything like that from Henry- just a more guarded body language which might just be an instinctive reaction to the topic itself given the hype.

Oh, we're back on this topic.

I'll see myself out.

What topic?

eh batman taller that superman? taller than him on purpose? look up to him? yeah we know who is the star of the next movie ladies and gentleman. Superman is taking a back seat and Affleck got his own screenwriter to make him look like the biggest badass that has ever lived.

Its just funny how both movies kinda resemble in that way. Marvel had to pull the big guns to compete with WB, even though they are 2 month apart this will hype cap 3 a whole lot more. And Stark has a lot of Bruce Wayne so they are really similar in some ways, even though i actually like Batman

This one.

this site is extra funny today

Not really. It's the usual response to posts like these.

No offense, but I'll pass.

I already lived through the previous few cycles of this same discussion, so I consider myself to be officially retired on this topic.

Fine, will leave this thread if it makes you happy, just trying to have conversations. Today its not the day it would seem

^ So haven't you seen the last new thread?

I don't believe that Cavill doesn't like Affleck and the body language %&$. sorry for my language. but I've never seen it like that nor I would continue to support this theory. Affleck wasn't asked about Cavill, and as I repeat he couldn't give any much detail with 1 and a half year.
That's all I will say about these topics cause I'm not interested in. like my fellow ISS says here I'm interested in some more valuable and actual things.

I dig the people here but this TMZ style Cavill and Affleck hate eachother talk is not a conversation that interests me and I wish it would go away.

I'm pretty sure his post gave the guy an idea to create that thread.
You know how it works, a person says "don't" and someone immediately has to do the opposite. It's like cats, actually.

I got nothing to do with it, or started it here. If you interpreted like that way that's your own problem. And i dont think there is a Cavill vs Affleck, they are actors they do their work and thats it, they dont have to be friends but im sure they will be professional with their respective roles, thats all that mattes

Nobody accused you of having anything to do with that thread mate.
