It's only going to get better come BvS's Batman.
agreed

Visual this, fighting that. Hmm. I wonder what the actual character will be like? Or the acting?
ay yi yi
I disagree with this so much...
Honestly this post cracked me the **** up.We get it... You're the superior fan to all us "regulars" with insight into the mythology of Batman that dwarfs the rest of us. You commune with the spirit of Bob Kane every two weeks while the rest of us cannot comprehend the depths of Nolan's breathtaking genius and are only interested in watching a film that is essentially BLOODSPORT with guys in capes. There is no place in true fandom for people looking for inventive and pleasing to the eye action. All CBMs simply must be a tete a tete with the burning bush on the mountain or else they are worthless and the fans of such inferior materials are ignorant mouth breathing fools that just "don't get it" the way you do.
Yeah, regwec's crying Bane gif was pretty hilarious too. Though mostly because that gif cracks me up in any context.

What are you facepalming about. He's slower than the fastest ninja alive, which is what you see in every other Kung-Fu flick. But how does that mean he will be killed by mercenaries? He still has armor, he's still a world-class ninja. Slower than the regular movies we see in that genre, but still good enough to get the job done. To me it's not slow, it's just not speedy. You JUST SAID that his slow movement in Nolan's films was realistic because he had "heavy and constricting" armor.
Rule#2 of being a ninja... be fast. (Rule#1 is hide in the shadows)![]()
Oh please, im not saying that at all. What a way to exaggerate. Im not superior to anyone else. I already said im looking forward to the same stuff you guys are, im just not as passionate about that side of it. Im saying, i come on here and it's always Nolan-fight bashing, visuals. We all know it will be awesome in the visual department. Let's talk about some stuff we dont know about yet. Character speculation. We get it... I agree. But i dont feel like Nolan is horrible at that. I think he's fine. I enjoy it. It's nothing spectacular like Snyder. But im far more interested in the other things that make up a film, and those are things that Snyder is just not good at.I would agree with this notion, if we're to base it off what the director is capable of. Nolan clearly isn't as well articulated in the art of action choreography, so it wouldn't bother me one bit if there was zero "action" at all. I'd much rather have no rating for it, rather than a negative impression.
Same goes for other elements as well. If a director is terrible at a certain area of filmmaking, if they truly cannot make it good, then they shouldn't touch upon it. Checklists be damned.
I hope Snyder takes note, because in many ways MOS was a film of him trying to be something he's not. And imo he failed in quite significant areas as a result. A full-on Snyder film, I feel, would've been a lot more successful.

There is no bar for batfights.I will never forgive Snyder if he doesn't far exceed the low bar that has been set for Batfights. I mean the bar is super low.
regwec wouldn't post a gif if his life depended on it.
Well, i dont see it that way. Let's just move on, because i love the fight scenes, even if they're not as fast as you want them to be. Im aware that they dont make me stand up and go HOLY S**T that was INSANE!". But i dont need it to do that. I thought they were solid, a bit flawed, but not a mess like you guys claim them to be. The Bane/Batman sewer fight is still the most realistic, and impactful fight scene ive ever seen in a big budget action or superhero movie. Raw, no thrilling fancy crap. I dont want that for Affleck but it's still the bees knees.I think you are missing the point. He's only good enough to get the job done because he fights complete morons who don't know that a gun is for shooting, not for clubbing. The fights are handicapped to accommodate his slowness.
Haaa, you guys really are acting like a-holes now. I can enjoy a good ribbing, but jeez, it's like the gloves have come off completely and some of you really don't care.
I am very interesting in seeing Ben throwing the batarang.....seem to be a classic/signature weapon of his........a actually weapon against opponent instead of distraction like in Nolan films
I bet anything , people come on here in March 2016...hating on Batman. Loving the visuals, suits, they'll love that stuff for years and continue to put down Nolan because of it. But just like MOS, they'll find him too extreme, oh he kicked Supermans ass, he's too grumpy. I might be one of those people, im not sure. But i can see it being split down the middle like Zack's Superman.
Its why I'm gonna laugh if the response to Batfleck ends up being like the response to "Man of Murder".
And I'm not even a "Nolanite".
