BvS Ben Affleck IS Batman!! - Part 5

I'm hoping for average length hair slicked back like Cm Punk, though maybe with some few loose strands.

It doesn't look as slicked back as that wrestler's hairstyle in those pics to me. He looks like he used a whole bottle of gel.

I wouldn't like it looking like it was covered in gel either. Just natural slicked back.

I have always preferred this look. Batman needs to be able to sprint, leap, swim, climb, and have enough flexibility to escape any nefarious death trap. Too often he is drawn with a physique that is good for bench pressing half a ton, but not much else. I would be so pleased if Ben is in this kind of shape for the role.

If someone looked like that in real life we would say they are monstrously jacked. I mean it's leaner compared to Jim Lee batman but jeez lol.

In real life, if Affleck comes even close to that I'll be surprised.

Yeah, I would like it a bit looser, that was just the only real life example I could think of. I mainly just don't want Affleck's usual short hair because I think they need to do everything they can to make him look as least "Affleck-y" as possible.

The most bruce-wayney pic of him I've seen yet. If they give him this haircut that would be fine. Even with the hint of grey.

Yeah, I like that hair. Maybe just a bit flatter though so it looks more like the Young Justice picture I posted. And I don't really think I want him to have graying hair.

Grey streaks and blue contacts. And yes, Affleck's worst enemy is his reputation for films made a whole decade ago.

He'll have to act like a boss just to overcome the preconceptions against him.

Supposedly, Affleck has already begun an intense training regimen -- 2 hours a day at the gym. I have a feeling he's going to be jacked when all is said and done.

If he goes too flat he'll look like George Clooney. Besides, it will get flattened anyway as he'll get hat hair after wearing the cowl.

I want him to look more like the animated series Bruce.

Yeah, Affleck is always in good shape anyway and he has a large frame so I'm excited what he will look like with the training Henry Caville had for Man of Steel.

They're not going to go as far as making him wear contacts. His look is close enough as is. They just need to style his hair differently.

I have little doubt Affleck will be the most physically imposing of all the Batmen.

If he has a suit that evokes the imagery of Keaton he would look absolutely monolithic.

Affleck doesn't look like the animated series Bruce though. He looks more like the Bronze Age version of Batman.

It's funny, Ben Affleck has always kinda been who've pictured in an actor for a live action Bruce Wayne/Batman, but I never actually considered him for the role up until the rumors about the offer.

I'm really curious to hear what the voice will sound like while behind the cowl. Obviously straying from Nolan-realism, he probably won't growl his lines, but should he have the same voice 100%? I'd like him to affect it a little bit.

I'm with you.

I actually pointed out that Aparo's Batman is certainly very muscular. I just think his rendition of the character has a somewhat slimmer and longer appearance than other depictions of various comic book characters, who tend to be drawn a bit wider or thicker at times.
I know, but my point is that he's not just muscular in those pictures, he's really bulky. An optimal fighting physique in real life would have less muscle mass, but comics always do the same thing as movies do these days, which is to say that more muscle is always good.

I don't have a problem with it, I just found it a bit funny when it was apparent how different things are from real life in that regard.

While probably not to the extent Bale awesomely used it (That's right. Come at me.) I imagine Affleck's batvoice will be gruffer than his usual speaking voice.

You know which version of Bruce, Affleck REALLY looks like?

Tell me I'm not the only one who sees it?

He also looks the best in manips.

And since Snyder will probably give him a good suit, he'll probably look the best as Batman.

I agree, he should alter his voice to some degree. Both as a disguise and to create more of a complete persona.

I think his Batman voice should be like Vin Diesel's, but more sophisticated sounding.

His Bruce voice can just be high-pitched and normalish.

I have hope that Affleck will be on par with Cavill's size in MOS for size and muscularity, Cavill's size was one of the best ever seen so far in a comic related film imo, even next to Evans and Hemmsworth.
Cavill's definition was the thing that made his look so great. Definition adds size. Cavill's trainer said he was 190 pounds 3 % body fat for MOS (during the shirtless scenes) but he could have passed for 220! Definition adds size and detail on the camera.

Ben Affleck I think would be around 210 even as his normal weight. He should get up to 230 with 5% body fat and he will look absolutely huge.

Isn't he the same height as Chris Pratt? Pratt looks absolutely massive in Guardians Of The Galaxy.

Obviously, all comicbook artists exaggerate anatomy. But the type of frame being represented by Aparo there is clearly distinct from the "meat head" physiques favoured by most modern artists. Aparo's Batman looks like he can do anything, which is ideal, rather than just lumber around slowly and flex his muscles.
