And that was 2003. Back then, we thought Iraq was a WMD storehouse.

I could imagine Affleck's Bat voice being similar to this.

I guess I'd want it to be about as deep as Vin Diesel's. Maybe deeper.

I want a DEEP intimidating voice. Not a growl, and a whisper wouldn't be bad, but just a normal male voice, but scary.

I wouldn't like it looking like it was covered in gel either. Just natural slicked back.
i like his hair here maybe grow it a little longer and darken it

Obviously, all comicbook artists exaggerate anatomy. But the type of frame being represented by Aparo there is clearly distinct from the "meat head" physiques favoured by most modern artists. Aparo's Batman looks like he can do anything, which is ideal, rather than just lumber around slowly and flex his muscles.

Thank you.

Not the haircut, not the shade... people made a big deal about Harvey Dent being blond and it really didn't matter to anyone in the end.

So it seems Affleck has dropped a few directing projects for this film. Really gives me more hope that he is committed to this.

While people whinge, I read on the comingsoon front page Affleck has begun training, spending two hours a day in the gym. When this guy gets buff he goes the whole way. Go get em, Ben.

I must say that my opinion has officially swerved 180 degrees from three days ago. Well....lets say 170 degrees. I think the inital shock has wore off and I finally got to watch Argo over the weekend and I am now confident that Ben can nail this. I only hope he does not totally overshadow Henry Cavill.

He hasn't dropped any projects.

He actually has a project he'll be working on up until MOS2 enters productions.

The AFTER MOS2, he's doing his next scheduled project.

Nothing is getting delayed nor dropped for MOS2.

I hope a lot of people will share this realisation as I think Ben could be perfect for the role.

Good sign for sure.

Although it would be good if he was offered some superhero directing gigs later too. Maybe directing himself in the solo Batman films. ;)

Yes exactly what we want to hear. The likes of Hemsworth & Jackman always get my respect for taking the physical side of their characters seriously. Affleck's obviously carrying a few extra pounds now but when was he in the best shape that he's been in in the past?

Not true

Warner Bros has set Scott Cooper to re-write and direct The Stand, the seminal post-apocalyptic Stephen King novel. That means that while the studio has Ben Affleck as its new Caped Crusader for Batman Vs. Superman, Affleck has withdrawn from The Stand. He had been set in late 2011 to write the script and direct. Affleck is busy directing and starring in his scripted adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s Live By Night for Warner Bros.

You should also check out Hollywoodland, he shows he can play tortured really well in that.

i just hope he doesn't drop directing Live By Night it is an adaption of a Dennis Lehane book same author of mystic river and gone baby gone

and he would be insane to drop out of Gone Girl directed by fincher

Good, because I think Affleck should make more movies ;)

But I think he's gonna give the performance of a lifetime in some ways.

He knows the risks of doing a bad superhero film, so Goyer/Snyder must have given him a pep talk. And possibly stated that Ben can write some of W/F :wow::woot:

Training 2 hours a day is pretty typical for any fitness enthusiast, I'm glad he's already begun but some of you act like that's above and beyond which it's not, well depending on how exactly he's training.
