Sorry, but I don't want Mrs. Jones to play Catwoman. My top choice is Kate Beckinsale. She's closer to Christian Bale's age, and she looks more like how I imagine a live-action Selina Kyle besides. And as she effectively demonstrated in Underworld, she's got the whole tight leather thing down (even though the movie sucked).

That, my fellows, is our Catwoman.

After reading one of the comics the other day, I think Beckinsale would make a better Huntress.

I adore Kate Beckinsale, but somehow, I think she's too established as an action hero. Van Helsing and Underworld both showcased her ability to be a dark, brooding warrior... but she does have a certain fierceness in her eyes that would be perfect.

Meh. In truth, I am increasingly hoping for a near-unknown. With a couple of exceptions, the current stable of Hollywood actresses does not strike me as particularly versatile, or even very comitted to their profession. We need a hungry outsider that will go the extra mile to nail the part.

Definately one of her yummiest (she looks almost exactly like Jim Lee's Selina there).

I haven't checked out this board in a while... I'm glad to see people still haven't lost interest in seeing Catwoman in one of the new movies.

Forgive me if this name was already brought up, but today, I was thinking that Denise Richards would make a great Catwoman. She was already a Bond girl, so she has experience in these types of movie, and from what I seen she is a good actress. And unlike Jolie or my previous choice Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richards isn't exactly A - list, so she'll fit in well with the cast.

As much as I would love Denise Richards to feature on all global banknotes, coins and stamps; I don't think she's right for the role.

Cameron Diaz for Catwoman. No one in my mind will top Pfeiffer, but to me Diaz will come dangerously close.

Like Pfeiffer, Diaz has it all: the lips, the eyes, the voice and the legs. I urge you to get the issue of Entertainment Weekly where I got these pics. It's the current issue.
