I would think that Adam would use up his air supply in that coffin pretty quickly, and then....

Yes and no. He will "die" without oxygen, but just like when Claire was impaled, he will instantly heal once he's out.

I'm assuming all the same rules apply.

I'm kinda glad the writers strike shortened this season. They can just call this one a fluke, and work on fixing the mistakes for season 3.

Annoyed. I hate that they never really gave her anything interesting to do, and it bothers me that she went out saving Monica's worthless ass.

Only DL has suffered a lamer fate.

Has anyone addressed why a bullet to the brain would take out Adam and Peter?

If they could survive being blown up (Nuclear Peter and the Kensei firebomb), couldn't they conceivably come back from a bullet to the head?

The season isn't over. It will most likely come back as season 2 next year. Think of it like mid-season break, kinda.

If they could survive being blown up (Nuclear Peter and the Kensei firebomb), couldn't they conceivably come back from a bullet to the head?

It's like when Claire was impaled with the branch, the bullet would be lodged into the brain, thus it can't heal unless removed... so I guess they can't really die, only be supressed as long as an object prevents their healing process, which, through Sylar's sick obsession we've come to know that their abiliites are rooted in the brain

The firebomb I have no answer to,maybe his head didn't blow off, just badly burned. The Nuclear Peter however is easy, Peter doesn't actually blow up he just emits the explosion, he doesn't actually explode, just like when Ted blew up the Bennet house, he doesn't explode he just emited the explosion
