the eclipse emits a certain type of solar radiation that endows people with the genetic facto powers if they do not have it alraedy. however a second exposure takes them away.

Boring ep and they spent 40 mins telling us what the previews told us last week, I love this show but this was the episode i liked the least this season.

Oh and I have a feeling that the powers will come back when the eclipse is gone.

however by that logic hiro should be gaining his powers again then....1st eclipse gained powers...2nd eclipse in the past he would have lost them and by this one he would be getting them back

Nope. There's a marked drop in solar radiation during an eclipse. What we do know for certain happens during an eclipse are marked changes in the atmosphere.

Air humidity, weather patterns, drops in temperature, changes in soil temperature, ocean patterns etc. All which working hand and hand can cause changes in peoples environments and surrounds, causing potential nervous or uncomfortable spikes in adrenaline.

Now, the powers disappearing, I'll have to think a little more on that one.
