Ah, sorry. Don't watch Nikita, and we don't get person of interest. Still, even though it's grounded in reality, do you consider the guy who kills without a second thought a hero, or the guy who shoots to wound a hero? Nolan's Batman was "grounded in reality", and he still did everything he could to immobilise without killing. If you were a victim/family of a victim, would you prefer your assailant die outright, or have a chance at long term suffering and being "messed with" in the showers in prison? If you die, then you're just dead - you have no opportunity to suffer for what you did. And a corrupt corporate fat cat isn't likely to survive in prison long without suffering - their frozen assets will only buy them so much protection.

I think as it is with Nikita, the main aim isn't shoot to kill, its capture victim or shoot to injure. But you gotta kill if it comes down to it. Sometimes its not the matter of killing all the enemies, but making sure you stay alive. I think this can be said for most of the TV shows involving a little violence. If I'm a victim or family of a victim, sure I want the guy jailed, I would never kill anyone. But if I am a vigilante/spy/cop I would kill if it means it could save my life. Its either I take him down or I die.

Sounds promising, hopefully we get a pic soon.

Really hope we get this version

Also it is a must that he is a chain smoker.

hello im new

looking forwards to this show...Katie Cassidy...awww yeah

Id much prefer a more classic Deadshot but the Arkham version was decent as well

BTW was just wondering, have you guys heard about this.
And Pedowitz is working to bring more men into the CW tent, which he hopes to do with DC’s Arrow and additional adaptations of those potentially male-skewing DC properties, though he was mum on specific titles.
I'm excited. Wonder which other DC properties will come unto the small screen.

While that's good, he also shouldn't be afraid to adapt some females since they always get the shaft.

I still hope Deadman happens.

Personally as others said the arkham game look is a bit weird looking. I still rather go the look hunter posted a few pages ago. And I too can't wait to see what deadshot turns out looks wise.

Also greenarrowtv has title for ep 4 up it will be titled "salvage" Nice title for episode. Can't wait to hear what spoilers come out for the episode.

As for the whole realism/realistic approach show is going for. We still yet to see how that really plays out for the show. Same with if metas wont/can't exist in arrow world. And if they do cool. If not guys like brick and some of the more freaky dc villains could easily be toned down a bit.

Like I and others have said maybe brick is just some dude that is pumped up with a pcp drug and got the nickname brick due to his fighting/doesn't feel pain. Or he could have one of the skin medical problems and got name through that.

And tech villains like vertigo and others can easily be believeable with where we are in science/tech/weapon stages in real life.

Same goes with tech arrows. We already know he will at some point in pilot have a bomb arrow. We don't need to see the cheesy ones like boxing glove arrows. But knockout gas arrow, a tazer arrow, a net/glue arrow, and a emp arrow would be in my mind relm of realistic trick arrows he could and would need in situations.

I wish we could get another shot at a BOP tv show and done properly this time. But of course that wont happen.

I feel like they could do a good Batman show if they wanted to and were allowed to do it. BOP had Bats and Babs as Batgirl in good enough costumes.

I would love to see some fun trick but realistic trick arrows. Tranq arrows sounds good.

You know people over the internet especially guys are already calling Arrow a failure because its on a female network. Adapting more females would just let them say I told you so.

I still hope Deadman happens.

Last I heard they're still developing. Hopefully for mid season, summer tv or next season.

So who cares? People are always going to have something to say. That doesnt mean that he should axe the chances of adapting female heroes. This isnt turning into an all males network just like it was never an all female network even though the previous network pres was trying to gear majority of the shows towards the female demo.

Those people are trolls.

Yeah, it annoys me to death that people just brush off Arrow just cos its on CW. Like hey, Nikita, Supernatural and Vampire Diaries are very very good shows.
If we can get a female superhero, I'm hoping its Batgirl. LOL. I really want a good Batgirl TV show with Barbara Gordon, taking up the mantle of Batgirl after being inspired by Batman who is either retired or doesn't exist in that universe.
I think Batgirl might be a bigger selling point than Birds of Prey.

Uhm, anyone heard this?

With China White, Deathstroke and Deadshot already confirmed for the new CW show Arrow, it looks like Oliver Queen will have his hands full, maybe to the point that he needs help? We've gotten word from Kabookit that Emily Bett Rickards has been cast in the show as Felicity Smoak. That name might not mean anything to some of you, but keen observers will realize that this is the stepmother of one half of the hero Firestorm, Ronald Raymond. The part is described as a recurring role so maybe we will get to see Ronnie sometime in the show; however, that would go against earlier claims by the show's staff and cast that "no one in Arrow has super powers."

From Greg Berlanti (Green Lantern), Marc Guggenheim (Green Lantern), Andrew Kreisberg (Warehouse 13, Fringe) and David Nutter (Smallville, Supernatural, Game of Thrones), the hard-hitting action series reinvents the DC hero. After being marooned for five years on a remote island, billionaire Oliver Queen returns home with a mysterious agenda and very lethal new set of skills that he uses in a war on crime. The series premieres Wednesday, October 10th at 8 p.m. ET/PT

The series stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, Colin Donnell as Tommy, Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, with Susanna Thompson as Moira Queen and Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance.

Thats insane. That is way too soon.

Too soon for Ronnie Raymond! I mean I'm so confused with this universe. Is Felicity Smoak really Ronnie's mum in this universe?
Is Ronnie going to appear in this universe?
How will Firestorm be able to transmute anything in this universe?
How will this change the dynamics of the show?
If she is a recurring character, will this be taking attention away from Ollie himself?
But at the same time, if Ronnie appears in the show I'll be totally excited. This is like Justice League 2nd tiered heroes. LOL.
Its too soon to let us know whats going on. Definitely too soon to introduce Ronnie, unless he would add on as a supporting character without powers.

Well, they said nothing about Ronnie. They probably had a role with a similar occupation to Smoak's and figured why not throw in a name from the comics. You're thinking WAY too far ahead.

Yes I am, but this is the internet and everyone overreacts. LOL.
Okay, I just read it again and I realised Smoak is Ronnie's step mum. Which means, we will probably take like 5 seasons till Ronnie appears. LOL. She isn't even married yet.

It sounds like she might become his tech girl, the Whistler to his Blade.

The bit that confused me was Firestorm being two halves.

The way it reads is as if Firestorm is a duo not a person.

Well now its both old/new firestorms to make a firestorm
