I thought Barrowman's character was gonna be the question.

I'd be cool with that, but I don't think anything's been confirmed.

i know thats me just speculating it just seems to fit with everything I've heard or read the producers say.

When does this series premiere again?

I'm probably setting myself up for disappointment, and am probably getting way ahead of myself, but the way the producers are talking about John Barrowman's character has me thinking he'll be [blackout]Bruce Wayne[/blackout].

That would be really awesome :woot:

Well I commented on this before it all counts on what type of filming they did for his episode or say huntress episode which is likely filming now. If it was a lot of location shooting more easier for stuff to leak out. If it studio shooting more easier to control and release when they want to.

Huntress isn't in Ep6. Confirmed at Paley Media stuff this weekend.

Wait is John Barrowman in this?! Then it's a given no matter how bad the show might be it will be worth a watch every single week :awesome:

He starts around Ep 4 apparently. Can't wait!

i doubt he be bruce wayne would be neat. Though i rather see him as the question. But so far it doesnt look like he is a super hero role. If it was they wouldnt keep it hidden this long. He is likely just a created for show character, or maybe a random/low key supporting character from dc world/green arrow comics. Also i didnt know her episode wasnt 6 i was at the time of that post going by spoilers/rumors we had for her.

its just my speculation based on some things I've heard producers say and the already announced characters. They say they want supporting characters with no powers and Barrowman's character has described as a well dressed individual who is prominent in the city. The only part that throws a wrench in my speculation is that he is also described as wealthy which Vic Sage is not unless they make him some media mogul.

Well since the producers have said they at this time want to stick with non powered beings I would hope the question, sandman, wildcat to name a few be first dibs on male heroes in the show.

ARROW Executive Producers On HUNTRESS And Other DC Characters

Someone will figure out Oliver Queen's secret identity pretty early on says executive producer Gregg Berlanti, but who is the question? Plus, are there any DC characters off the table for cameo appearances? Mark Julian - 9/10/2012

The promo material for CW's Arrow looks promising and the early reviews of the pilot episode have all been positive making a show that was met with skepticism when first announced, one of the must-see-shows premiering this Fall. One thing comic book fans are especially anticipating is discovering exactly who and how their favorite DC characters are being incorporated into the show. Recently, TV-Guide caught up with Andrew Kreisberg, Marc Guggenheim and Gregg Berlanti to try and get the scoop.

On Huntress. "She's going to be a match for [Oliver], both in skill and in matters of the heart. It's a new take on The Huntress that no one has ever seen, but definitely feels Arrow-fied for our world." - Kreisberg

On Firestorm step-mom, Felicity Smoak. "On our show, she's a brilliant IT girl at Queen Consolidated and she's become a little bit of Oliver's unknowing Scooby gang," Kreisberg says. "She's brilliant, but tough and sarcastic and doesn't relate well to people. Oliver is constantly coming to her for computer problems, and whether she knows it or not, she's actually helping him solve some of the cases." - Kreisberg

On Green Arrow's secret identity and if his sister, he jokingly referred to as 'Speedy' will be the one that finds out. "Oliver shares his secret with someone pretty early on," Berlanti says. "That becomes a part of the debate of what is he doing and what tactics is he using and is he crossing the line?"

"You're certainly welcome to hope (that it's Thea Queen, played by Willa Holland)," Kreisberg says. "The Oliver-Thea relationship has its ups and downs and it's one of the most complicated relationships we have on the show," Guggenheim adds.

Which DC characters can appear on the show? "Aside from the characters that wouldn't fit into our conception of Oliver's world, like some of the more fantastical aliens or superpowered people, everybody is really sort of up for grabs." -Kreisberg

Of course, there's also Deadshot, Deathstroke, China White and a rumored appearance by Green Arrow mentor, Merlyn to also look forward to; as well as a slew of Green Arrow support characters also set to appear on the show. The producer trio also stated that one character who won't rush to don superhero tights or rather fishnet stockings will be Dinah Lance aka Black Canary, played by Katie Cassidy. It will be interesting to see if she's aware of the (implied above) romance between Oliver and Huntress or if she's even aware that Oliver is Green Arrow. For a show that's deciding to take a sharp left from Smallville it would certainly help to not have a Clark Kent/Lois Lane type relationship between it's two main stars.

Arrow premiers October 10th on the CW.

But he looks 35. He could be playing Bruce. :o

That's the first promo in which I haven't felt iffy about Amell's acting. He seems to be getting good notices in the reviews, so I'm getting more and more optimistic by the day.

Poster's kinda... ridiculous... I can see what they're trying to do - pull in the girls and lgbt audience who don't like action to the pilot. But, still...

The promo though? Rocks! Seriously can't wait.

"NOOooo!! We cannot hope to ever defeat Arrow's amazing pecs. We have lost!"

I hate how ****ing arbitrary they are with these shows. Just like the "no tights" deal with Smallville.

I say: Write the ****ing stories organically. Worry about that, instead of sticking with your arbitrary rules.

I'd like to think someday DC will get a clue and embrace the genre, like Marvel has, instead of running away from it.

Marvel hasn't embraced the ****ing genre until they give me some ****ing Dr. Strange. :o

Yeah, that was the most polished promo so far.

Saw that new promo last night after work. Nice little preview for show. As for producers views I don't see them ****ting over all dc stuff. They just wanted the show to be a certain style/tone. And there is plently of normal/realistic tech heroes and baddies they can use. And I doubt they **** over all details of dcu and all that. I still perfer in time maybe they will loosen up/drop the non powers stick. And slowly work in metas/magic/etc.... supered beings. They can still make it work as I mentioned in past. We can just have it be no metas/magic/aliens have come up to the public. And they are just urban legends, myths and all that. Which can slowly start trickling in later.
