Seriously, this whole cast is so talented that I;m not concerned about any of them - except for Cavill, and he's the lead! It's scary but also exciting.

Love that picture! Superman has a gritty sort of intimidating look on his face.

I grew up watching Bruce Timms Superman on S:TAS where Pa Kent was alive and kickin, as he wasthroughout most of my childhood reading comics. This made me a bit resistant to continuities where Pa Kent dies before Clark becomes Superman.

But after reading the original Superman comics and seeing how GRITTY he was in the begining. So i couldnt help but wonder, how much of that grit comes from having a parent or parents die before you reach full adulthood? Now i sort of like the approach of neither of Clarks fathers living to see the man he would become. I like this approach in the DCNU, and Snyder and co have won me over as well. An edgier Superman is fine with me, especially sincethat is how he stared of back in 1939. Sort of like getting back to your roots.

People keep on going on about how dark it is, and while the colours may be a bit 'washed out' in some images, it's certainly not DARK. He's fricking bathed in light

Henry Cavill will be presenting an award at the MTV Movie Awards. What he's presenting and with whom are yet to be revealed. Too bad they won't be showing any MOS footage like they did with TDKR last year. Clearly that was the only good part of the show.
