Ok....May I ask a question that doesn't pertain to Henry's good looks?
How much did he get paid for doing MOS?
Thanks in advance.

$14,000,000 (+ Box Office Gross)

That's gotta be BS, no waay did he get such a good deal for this film. Especially a back end which is usually reserved for the veteran stars.

Chris Evans was paid like $250,000 for captain america and he was a bigger name than cavill at the time too.

I have no clue, I just pulled it out of Cavill's IMDB page.

That pic might come in handy if Lex tries to turn the populace of Earth against him. Who needs silly old Kryptonite? :hehe:

Don't trust IMDB their facts are like 80% wrong most of the time.

Cavill likely didn't make all too much comparatively but will make much more in the sequel. That's how it pretty much always works.

Chris Evans (and a lot of the Marvel stars) was horrifically underpaid though.

That $250,000 is shocking for an actor who had quite a sizeable profile before taking the role. Now, Chris Hemsworth, on the other hand...

Oh I was serious.

:p

Long hair Superman is a must with Cavill in a sequel...

One of the hottest things about him in the movie?

The chest hair that peaked out the top of the costume. :awesome: :O

My body type is actually quite similar (wide frame and smaller bone structure), but unlike HC, I had a very fast metabolism growing up, so it was difficult for me to increase my mass until I reached a certain age. My current metabolic rate is pretty much where I want it to be though, but I don't take as much advantage of the fact as I should, working out only a little here and there. Now, if I had a trainer like Mark Twight, I'd be off to the races! :yay:
The training is nothing!! The will is everything!

So I was wondering..

Cavill has said in many interviews that he has lost nearly all the mass he put on for MoS and that he looks nothing like he did in the shirtless scene.

But I am just curious, why wouldn't he try to maintain it??? He achieved one of the best physiques on screen and likely reached the full potential of his anatomy, and he did it through extreme dedication and hard work, he earned it.

I know its quite unrealistic to maintain the shape he was in for the shirtless scene year round, but surely he could at least stay in the same ballpark? Twight has said he had 3-4% bodyfat for that scene, so couldn't he stay around 10% bodyfat and do some maintenance lifting to stay that way??

As they say, its easier to stay on the mountain than to climb it, and seeing as he's destined to play Superman for a very long time hopefully, it really bothers me that he lost it all :/

Here's hoping that Cavill finds the motivation to climb that mountain again :)
