It's a close one between Hemsworth and Cavill when we are talking mainstream heroes but none of these guys will ever touch Michael jai White body (spawn) the guy is on another level.

Jai white always stays in a really buff shape though, you might as well through the rock into the conversation then? I think this is more about actors who had to gain a lot of musculature specifically for the roles.

If measured by pure size including height then yeah hemsworth takes the cake/whey protein shake.

Cool. On another note, Cavill has great on screen physicallity. I noticed that during Immortals. Dude really sells the action scenes. Granted a lot of MOS was a CGI double but still.

I think that at this point is beyond debate. He really bad the best superhero physique ever.

I had to see the movie again to come to that conclusion because Hemsworth was still running through my mind. And Jackman still exists as well. All of the actors put a lot into their shape for at least their first time as a Superhero. The question is, will Cavill get into that kinda shape again if a sequel is made?

That's a good question. All the guys are usually super pumped and motivated to get into great shape for the first film possibly due to the fact they know this will be their career making role. Bale, Evans, Hemsworth all huge in their first outing.

However come the 2nd film and them having a little more clout/security under their belt, i don't want to say they slack but maybe don't push themselves as hard as before. All of the mentioned were somewhat smaller in their 2nd screen outings (hell throw toby maguire in there as well).

Hemsworth talked about how it's brutal to get into thor shape and i believe it actually became a point of contract contention vs how much he was actually going to make for an avengers 2.

So as for cavill i suspect he'll still look great but probably less shirtless scenes for a reason.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm willing to bet that there would be less shirtless scenes in the next one because 1) He's already Superman and 2) They don't need to sell the fact that it's him under the suit.

I hope he will get like that again. Snyder's very into it, so I think he'd want it done.

Either they get very hot and sticky, and since they're not in a public gym they think '**** it' and take it off... Or it's a motivational thing.

Or because there's a camera filming a publicity video.

So what's the consensus on Clark wearing the suit under his clothes while at the Planet? Can't be done right? Suit is too big. My buddy and I were talking and we agreed that he will have to carry a messenger bag with him and keep the suit in there. Unfortunately you lose the iconic shirt rip though.

In private gyms, people do workout without their shirts. It would be kinda not accepted in a public gym but in a private gym it is fine.

Also another obvious reason is he is shirtless to show off his body. I mean that is what that picture is for. Its promotion for the film.

My solution would be a compromise taking in both ideas. The body suit is skin tight enough that I think he could get away with it under civilian clothing. However the cape is massive and is probably best kept in his messenger bag. Therefore you still get the iconic shirt rip.
