Who do you think was actually bigger cavill in Mos or Bale in begins? Their height difference is probably pretty negligible?

Cavill's beard probably added to his weight though.
Its not even close. Cavill looked way way bigger. He seriously looked hulked out or something, his abdominal muscles were sticking out like a dial pad on his belly.

Cavill looked awesome during the oil rig scene.

You people can keep debating who looked more 'juice' but it's the ladies and the gays of the Hype who win in the end. :fhm:

Straight guys do, too. Motivation to hit the gym harder. :p

We discuss every little thing on here. It's just the way of the Hype world. :p

I'm happy and thankful for all the eye candy accross the comicbook movie landscape.

Came into the office today after 2 weeks off, and I swear, half the building were talking about how hot Henry Cavill is... And I think only a handful had actually seen the movie.

He's just majorly getting attention now :D

And you didn't yell, "RIGHT ON SISTAH!"? For shame Becky. :nono:

Henry Cavill is just a mega hottie. During the junket male and female reporters alike could barely ask a question when they were in his presence. My sis and I love the actual film but out at dinner most of our covo was about how handsome Henry Cavill was. The fact that he is actually as good as he is in the role just makes him more attractive. I mean if he sucked at acting my attraction to him wouldn't last long.

Prior to seeing the film, so many were saying that Shannon would steal the show from HC. DID.. NOT.. HAPPEN.

Yeah, Henry was just WONDERFUL! The whole cast was great, but Shannon never stole the show, at least not for ME, superman was the star and he was FANTASTIC.
I think the fact that he wanted to play Superman so much and LOVES the character made it more magical! :hrt:

^ This.

The scene in which Henry swipes the clothes drew a few gasps from the audience in my theatre.

It is interesting to hear James Franco say Henry Cavill probably doesn't like him because when they made Tristan and Isolde he was a difficult young actor who took himself too seriously.

I bet Cavill probably doesn't even dislike. If Henry has no problem with the kids that bullied him at school I doubt he is going to hold a dislike of his co-star because he was a little too serious.

Yep Shannon was good but the movie belonged to Cavill. Nobody overshadowed him and I think the filmmakers went out of their way to make sure that nobody overshadowed him because the movie was about Superman's beginnings.

I hate to keep brow beating it but I'm using the example to make a point. Unlike the 2006 movie the filmmakers made sure to give their lead actor moments to shine. No matter what one thinks of Man of Steel as a film they have to admit that Cavill actually got humanising moments to shine unlike the previous film which seemed more concerned with bitter Lois and Spacey playing a darker Hackman Lex.

Yeah, that was a very interesting read. I also loved that part in which Franco says how much Henry was dying to play Superman back in 2005, and him not understanding why.

I like Franco's honesty but I doubt Cavill is thinking about him. And I agree with you Andreth, I think the most interesting thing is hearing about how much he wanted to play Superman. We've heard it before but hearing it again from Franco is interesting.

Tristan and Isolde was such a boring nothing of a movie. I watched it years ago because I thought Franco was hot and of course I didn't even notice or care about Cavill at the time. I like Franco and I agree with him about TASM and it's cute he liked MOS but MOS isn't about him, he needs to tone down the ego a little. He is a great actor when he tries though.

Add me to the Man-Crush list too. Agree 100% with everything you said.

It's amazing what a nice guy Henry seems to be. Hearing everyone constantly mention how good-looking you are would probably go to a lot of people's heads, but I feel he has this humility that probably comes from the fact that he was called "Fat Cavill" as a kid.

That story about a young Henry meeting Russell Crowe never gets old. Crowe told it so well on The Graham Norton Show interview. It's just another thing that makes it feel like this particular movie was meant to be.

I would love to know what anybody who went to school with Henry thinks about the fact that Fat Cavill is now Superman. :hehe:
Absolutely. That stuff never leaves you, even if you become totally different from what you were as a kid.

Cavill looked awesome during the oil rig scene.
I actually preferred that scene because the first moment you see him, it's a nice long shot of his back. :fhm:

I prefer nice muscular backs to pecs and abs. Pecs and abs I can see any day of the week at my gym. It's rarer to have a really muscular back, IMO. So many guys ignore it.

Yup! :awesome:
