does anyone think henry cavill is too short to play superman. i think the acting is what matters not the height of the actor.
I'd go a step further and say Cavill's the first one who actually had a fanbase before being cast as well. Granted, it was a mostly female fanbase (mostly Tudors and Twilight fans, from what I gather), but there was definitely some kind of devoted Cult of Cavill before he became Superman.
Yeah, I was referring to them too. In fact I specifically said Steve Reeves in my post. His hands don't look small, because he isn't freakishly big.I was referring to the three or four black-and-whites earlier in the thread (this page or the last). Frank Zane and Steve Reeves. Their upper bodies, and especially their upper arms, make their hands look smaller. It's just an aesthetic quibble. I think big hands are more evocative - if understatedly so - of strength.
LOL. I think with the success of superman earth one, DC should model on that success, no more suits and boyscout image. go for a superman that is unsure of himself, that struggles with issues modern teenagers struggles, connect with the audience and wear leather jacket.
If Cavil's performance in Immortals is able to both get him over to the rest of the GA in a positive way, then it should build up the excitement and anticipation towards seeing him portray the man of steel.
None have appeared online. Although, we should get a glimpse of him in a couple of weeks (or whenever ComiCon is) because he will be promoting 'Immortals'.Any recent pics of Cavill there only one month away from shooting?
